This guy had me in stitches. The old days were brilliant for comedians like Freddie Starr, Cannon and Ball, Morcambe and Wise, The Two Ronnies etc etc

I was lucky enough to be a girlfriend and then lifelong friend to Duncan, knowing each other for 50yrs. He was working in a Menswear Shop and i was in a boutique working inside a precinct when I saw him keep walking past and looking in. Later on that day he bought his mum in and said "Mum, I'll treat ya, go n find yourself a nice new dress while I talk to this lovely young lady!" God Bless him, its so hard to realise that he's gone forever. A beautiful, talented man. xx 😪💔🙏

My Dad and I are from Northern Ireland and we went to Blackpool every year on holiday. We first seen Duncan as a supporting act to Freddie Starr one year, and we pi**ed ourselves laughing at him skipping down the aisles! Such a great funny man, who we seen many times afterwards! Sad to see he passed so early, a great loss to the comedy circle and to us fans! RIP

Camp comedians who could laugh at themselves and we could laugh with them RIP Duncan xx
@colindavid207822 күн бұрын
Yet, not gay at all! Smartly used the "camp" scene to do his acts. The man was as straight as an arrow! Only fancied women! One in a million the man was, miles in front of any of the modern comedians!

You actually think he was a comedy 'great' ?!? You need to get a grip of yourself. Please note the 'greats' that have gone before him... Both Ronnie's ; Chic Murray ; Morecambe & Wise ;even Monkhouse himself. He's not in that league.

Well said! Christmas time is a reminder of how great comedy was in the 60's/70's/80's/90's/ maybe early 2000's!......after that it is a shambles! Where are the "Benny Hills", the "Freddie Starr's", The "Two Ronnies", The Morecombe and Wise", The "Grumbleweeds", The "Little and Large", The "Frank Spencer's", The "Alf Garnet's", The "Only fools and horses", The "Mick Miller's", The "Frank Carson's", THE LIST GOES ON!!!! I was born in 1984, and I wish I was born in 1950! I would have seen the best music ever, and experienced the best comedians ever, and also got one of the best snowfalls ever in 1962/3!!
