Much believed by United supporters. Don’t buy it myself. United were rotten in the day, Roma even had a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside. Riccardo Viola alleged that his father Dino attempted to bribe the referee Michel Vautrot but also that the bribe wasn’t accepted. A much more obvious dodgy ref was when United played Radnicki Nis away in 1982. Now there was some questionable refereeing.

My dad was a United supporter, so I became a United supporter, my cousin's dad was a Dundee supporter and he became a Dundee supporter, it might not always happen like that, but it's usually the case.

Aye it was a bit of a painful watch last night, could do without suffering the playoffs again as well.🙈 My family is a mixture of Dees and Arabs - just depends who got you into football when you were wee really. The Dee side of the family got me and my brother is United. Lots of banter among the various far flung cousins over the years as well. 😄

@@mattthegroundhopper9242 probably just a family thing. In the sixties Dundee were a far bigger club. In the late seventies and eighties it was united. Ironically united's greatest achievements were under the management of Jim McLean a former Dundee player
