Travis is the most Amazing Man he’s a fantastic actor. I love all of his movies and I have followed him since he was in his 20s. He’s the most sexiest man I’ve ever seen in my life. He has the most beautiful sexy blue eyes, and his smile is so gorgeous.

The young casts (Princess Inez, the acolytes, atriedis guys) are miscasts. When the scene turns to them, the show somehow looks cheap sci wi show. The herkonnen sisters (and their young versions) are very well. Travis' acting was also a bit too dramatic. Only the Harkonnen sisters fit this show.

Are the actors being intentionally vague with their answers so as not to spoil everything, or are they really not very knowledgeable of Dune lore and the very prominent themes of Dune?

Probably Both …mean it does go quite deep !

They haven't read the ,what is it... 15 Books??

@@luckyjasonfan Hehe. No i meant that even if they did read Dune and maybe Dune Messiah, if we're really going to talk about prophecy and prescience CoD and GEOD really help with that. I would expect that reading source material would be actors basic homework? In another interview the two Corrino actors and the Atreides actor talked about how they had creative freedom to interpret their characters since their characters aren't in the books. That's a red flag to me. Then again, I'm very much holding any book-to-screen adaptations by the principles of honouring the author's vision that the Lord of the Rings cast and crew had. Even though I admit that's a very high standard to have.

bro, chill. it's a prequel that's not a direct adaptation of the main dune books. the main thing they need to pull off is just to make it a convincing origin story of the bene gesserit and how the breeding program led to paul atreides. nitpicking about non-book canon characters is so silly because frank herbert didn't write about this timeline, so you can't expect these characters to be book canon
