I only ever heard this name spoken by friends who knew the book(s?) and the original film. I thought it was 'Benejesuit' for the longest time. It is an elegant portmanteau of Benedictine and Jesuit. The costume design in the new films is intelligent. It exploits the look of these - and many other - patriarchal religious orders to convey their legacy of power, the history of humans who went before them, and the zany idea of a matriarchy turning the tables on it all. Quite funny how they're so obviously written from a male perspective, though.

paul betrayed himself tho. He ended up following a path he did not want to follow so he could get his revenge on the Harkonnens. He redeems himself later, but he will cause a huge genocide, and loses control over his followers.

There's only a handful of Sardaukar throat singing clips so, yeah, it's usually the same ones. Glad you like it though, the idea is to evoke the chapter epigraphs of the books. :)

@@SWFT_edits I meant to mention this also! I’ve replayed the Sardaukar prologue at the beginning over and over- The Sardaukar singing/chanting just gives a real sense of other worldly…non-human. I absolutely love it! So thank you so much for incorporating that into the clips. I also found the music you used in this video just perfect, it’s audio-logically mesmerising and evokes beautiful emotion. It’s just SO good!!

Overall id say good edit, though the music choice wasnt very fitting. The Bene Gesserit are very shadowy, mysterious, morally grey people, so replacing the more heroic music with something more foreboding would fit much better.
