Awesome video as always! By the way, the Hebrew Behemoth was described in Job, and it's not mentioned how it looks physically, it's mentioned that it's strong big etc if I remember correctly; speculations suggest it was something around a rhino, hippo, elephant, etc... Nowadays the term is used loosely denoting gargantuan things/beings. Also, the entity that you've mentioned is probably the Leviathan, described also in Job and associated with the primordial seas if I remember correctly (there was a conflict between these two chaotic entities, I cannot recall it correctly by heart though, it's not mentioned frequently); nevertheless, they kind of disappear in Abrahamic mythos after Job for what I know. Go figure xD Keep up the nice stuff mates! Cheers

Franco Centola that’s leviathan which is a creature who likely stemmed from the semetic god Tiamat Behemoth is described as a large land welling beast with a tail like a cedar and strength in his loins
@impartialthrone2097 Жыл бұрын
Behemoth was most likely an Elephant or Hippo due to the detail about its tail being like a cedar. Liars will try to use that line to claim it was a frickin dinosaur, but that's assuming thise who wrote the bible in the middle east/North Africa were referencing a North American cedar rather than the cedar native to their part of the world. Leviathan was most likely an Alligator. The ones that were in that part of the world can be frickin monsters.

They designed Bahamut in a way that the party both doesn’t want to win and can’t win. He is a super good guy, but he is said to know EVERY spell, he has an ice breath attack, he might has a breath attack that literally shoots out a mist that evaporates people, and sometimes his roar can disintegrate things cause it is too loud. And some dms say that you have disadvantage on attacks because is so damn shinny.

I guess in my cosmology, the gods are energy based forms that are outside even the astral plane. Even their forms in the outer planes are avatars. The reason they can't enter the planes is because they are just too big and have too much energy for the fragile little cosmos to contain. It'd be like lighting striking an iphone. Or trying to put yourself inside of an iphone. But they all can manipulate it using little actions from the outside, even creating smaller, lower energy avatars on the inside. The Cosmos is virtual reality, and the gods are the users.

He's incredibly powerful but corrects me if I'm wrong, what's scary is, in theory, couldn't someone like Elminster defeat his avatar at least, by casting Wish? First, you cast an instant death spell, Bahamut succeeds the save. Then assuming you're not dead yet you cast Wish and choose to undo an opponent's successful save. Meaning he failed the save and 'dies' since deities can't die he's just banished to his realm but that's about all you can do to deities.
