Last Season: Kelly and Joe characters - brotherly relationship with fondness for each other. This season - almost a cat fight lately. This is awesome. I love how Monty just laughs his butt off as they go at it and how Jill is trying to be the Peacemaker and only adult in this party. GREAT JOB!!! As a warlock player too, consider the idea, of set an aoe spell like hunger of Hadar, and blast them in range and also take the blink spell so you can blast more (blink as spell does not stack with concentration spells)

Kelly's roleplaying was on point this episode. I saw so much emotion and internal conflict. And Monty as the Countess was chilling. I will always love Rudy, she is both wholesome and scary as hell. Wrath is such a fun character as well I love the swing from charming and sly to crazy cat parent in a matter of seconds. Good job everyone!

I'm so glad this is a live campagne and extremely entertaining, thank you guys so much. Whenever the players start to talk about sneak and stealth I get sooo excited. I think the combined success rate of the Drakenforce and Duskwarden in "Stealth Missions" is 0% (well they managed to surprise the Hydra .......................). Some of the fondest memories go to Gnoll urine stealth escape after stealthy assassinating Gnolls didnt work out due to Pluto Clonkclonk, getting the drop dropped on them while trying to get the drop on Hooded Lanterns/Queensmen (many windows that survived the appocalypse died that day), Schaffburg Massacre was initially a stealth mission too and a very unstealthy Elven Ruin ritual interference Infiltration You guys are the greatest

Monty in ara ara mode is quite something. We now have enemies in the Duchess, the Countess... taking bets on whether the next enemy will be a Baroness or a Princess, or perhaps a Marchess. A bit early for a Queen, though. So far the Shadows campaign is doing a much better job of showing how to do horror flavour in D&D while still keeping it adventure-y than the new Van Richten Ravenloft release. We've had folky disturbing horror, corruptive mutation and cosmic horror, and now "classic" horror of the gothic variety that seems to work because it's playing the well-known cues very well in a D&D context. I'm low-key hoping for further forms of horrory adventures as the campaign goes further. I wonder if Elias will survive - after all, his would-be rescuers have a history with him.

Started watching a few weeks ago and I’m trying to catch up before episode 44 comes out. I definitely believe Wilhelm is the son of one of Von Kessels who was slain by Drexel as mentioned in DoD. This explains his aversion to an almost universally liked man as well as an interaction I believe in episode 3 where River asks if Wolfsbane was made up by Wilhelm. It explains how he knows about the Von Kessel struggle without like asking Monty if it would be something Wilhelm would know. Drakkenheim was the death of his family so it would also explain why he seems to hate the city more than most. Kelly’s facial expressions when the Von Kessels are insulted by npcs or when discovering something is always either like he’s been offended or just solemn like he is personally invested.

to be brutally honest Jill's action to bash the door when their heist blew up is the worst decision. If I were on her shoes I should have attacked the guard. Same goes with Joe, I was baffled on his choice of forcing his way near the enemies. So how did Rudi get an attack on the chamberlain? Wrath was in her way, and she has a 5ft reach. There are specific abilities and spells for moving Allies which Rudi does not have.

I know Rudy epically failed her stealth but saying she slammed the door was the worst and most illogical outcome. She was at least 10 feet from the door and never touched it. She could have stumbled down the steps, run into the wall, or trip and it would have made perfect sense, but her slamming the door right away took me out of the story, destroying the immersion, and the look on Kelly's face looks like it threw them for a loop too. Wilhelm going through the chamberlain's space is the same left or right because you said the stairs is walled off. So either he should have been able to go either direction or neither.
