We now homeschool our 13 yr old son and 11yr old daughter so we can build things like Meditation, emotional intelligence, writing, business and wealth management..etc. D&D was instrumental in developing my imagination, communication skills, cooperation techniques, math skills, empathy, and writing skills. It's easily the best game on the planet for crossing all the I's and dotting all those T's as Monty likes to say :) (Just jabbing Monty) You're the best DM I've ever seen or heard.

They all have their deep moments. Like Wrath and his profound talks with Bruce, Rudy and her family problems, Veo and her daddy issues and Pluto's diplomacy stuff and rivalry with Jupiter. This andventure is more related to Sebastian's personal growth bc is directly tied to his work on the Amethyst Academy, but I'm sure that the next adventure will be focused on one of the other characters.

I’ve thought about this for Sebastian and Wilhelm. I think it’s because he is the other “dude” and he creates characters that are more tied into the plot. At the beginning of Shadows he seemed random but now it’s easy to see Kelley designed him to be a big deal.

To Monty and Jill... I just cant help myself but to point out that this session gave a perfect example of why not to multiclass out of ranger at 5.... Monty has consistently preached get out of ranger at 5 and go for fighter or Rogue for extra damage. All that extra damage isnt helpful if you dont have any turns... if you cant make your wisdom saving throws. Iron mind is sitting there at 7 and there are many other great features later now for rangers. They continue to be an underrated class...

Just ran some of the playtest from last night and had a player get 2 levels of contamination. They got the shedding mutation...they are a rabbit folk - lvl 15 one shot to a made up hanging garden in castle draken homebrewed the wretched, the lonely, and the jade spider as the enemies. They beat them handily but those contaminated teeth of the wretched got one of them and the lonely wrecked the fighters health

[SPOILERS FOR THIS EPISPDE] . /_ . /_ . /_ . /_ ./_ Imagine for a moment that Sebastian's Synapic Static managed to fry that Warp Witch from the inside of Pluto's Brain & he gets disoriented/frightened, running away. By some statistical miracle (posible only because he is rolling CON saves with advantage, thanks to the sealed space helmet), he never gains another level of contamination before leaving the crater. . Since he can not breathe air, before his 1 hour of holding ends he instinctively [Wisdom (Survival)] seeks the nearby river & uses his new swimming speed to go north against the current. . The water is poisonous initially, but he is inmune to it; eventually he swims out of Drakenheim & later Aqua Expergo kicks out (making a liquid mess inside his space helmet), that the purification system cleans & recycle as slightly salty water (that he can now re-breathe). After a single long rest he can move again. For (at least) a month, he lives as a monster that can climb & swim as fast as he can run. He is too dumb to take out his space helmet partially filled with oxygenated, purified recycled vomit (that his gills can breathe through); so he is not limited to the river. . His monstruos mouth belly demands to be fed (he hunts with his friend sentient sword Ignatious, who tries to cook the raw flesh at least a little). -> This monster mouth helps him not to suffer hunger (since he can not eat with his human mouth because of the space helmet). He follows the river up north, eventually reaching Kastlehom (Ignatious's forest fires bringing attention ). . The Dust Wardens defeat & capture the aberration, rather than killing him (Bruce warns Wrath about it, who then Arcana checks the advanced Spacesuit, while Wilhelm recalls History about Ignatious). . River confirms his identity, they seek help with Charlemagne and/or the Druids (who cast Heal on him). -> His Deep Haze spacesuit armor is confiscated by the Amethyst Academy & reverse engineered.

World building "proper sleeping conditions" 1D6 for hostile,1D10 for bad and heavy armor 1D20 for imperfect and medium armor. Your long rest fails on a 1 don\doff armor is a cantrip and enchanted armor often has bonus action doning with better armor having sleepwear or jewelry "mode\settings".

Hey, so i'm just starting to get into D&D and curious what are they looking at on their tablets the whole time? Is it just their character sheets on D&D Beyond or is it the map or something else? its probably dnd beyond or the roll 20 character shit. they use a physical map for their in-person games. some people use tablets and computers to access their character sheets others use pen and paper really depends on preference. me personnally i always use an app on my phone

We are using D&D beyond which we find very useful for keeping track of everything. Pencil and paper works fine as well, we just find for our streamed games the digital tools help keep everything organized, clean, and concise.

Hope Wrath and Sebastian end up in same session, exchanging their origin of spellcasting. Inherent magic blood vs sugar mom/ dad.. CAT patron😁 Burning through these episodes while building DnD karakters and painting minis. It help me focus and actually remember most conversations. Tabletop Audio is great too. But music tracks with lyrics... THATS distracting😂

This is a persistent problem, Monty's mastering is so low, but Kely's is so high. I can watch episodes late at night because my volume has to be so loud to hear Monty, but then Kelly talks and it wakes the city.
