@@dunnadidit yes it was very good. you managed to cover a lot of infos and explained very well. For me as a beginner you nailed. I have seen many tutorials but I have not seen so many how to apply them on a video edited from the start to the end. I loved how did you explained every detail and the sound part was great explaining every layer of it and the feeling you wanted the viewer to have Thank you for doing this!

I really like how you broke down the color and sound design and didn't just focus on the sponsored music bits. And I'm disappointed in myself for not noticing that her voice was AI dubbed. Something felt a touch off about it, but I didn't expect the AI!

Just learning Resolve, so this was a sort of mini course in filmmaking. Definitely showed me I don’t know much about the craft. Zero budget - still chuckling over that one, given the huge time and effort you put into the post production. Wasn’t planning on watching the whole video, figured it was too long for the end result, but I did watch it in the end. Thanks for your effort.

You can also track masks in the color page, add an alpha output for it and link the blue chain to the alpha output to make masks without having to use fusion. I love the sound design, I personally also do a lot of it in my edits, but I don't organize my tracks as well as you do. My tracks are all over the place 😂 Also, I'm disappointed that you didn't call it breaverb.

All phases of this video were so interesting! I felt like I was on the scene and in the edit room with you guys! That log-leap transition is incredible and seeing how you made it work in Resolve is also incredible. So, was that the only transition and your 100 other clips just, what would you say, butted together? Or maybe "non-transitioned?" This video barely beats out my other fave video you did- $146K Electric Porsche. This video wins for its "how-to-do-this" content, the other for its smooth, effortless-looking, cinematography vibe while searching for a recharge station in the wilderness. You do make the coolest vids! Thank you for sharing this one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

🎉 will be watching. Just one thing which I am struggling with currently: in the dark studio style would you record on a7iv iso on 800 or 3200?
@dunnadidit
@dunnadidit Жыл бұрын
Ideally 800 but it all depends on the light specifically. Even for dark settings, you might want to have a bit of a brighter signal and bring it down in post. If the lighting is just how you want it, do a test to see if 800 makes your dark areas noisy. If 3200 clips any highlights then its too bright. Hopefully that made sense haha.
@RafalGendarz
@RafalGendarz Жыл бұрын
@@dunnadidit yea thank you. I have 2 amarans before me but the background is kind of dark and I think 800 doesn’t record the shadows nuances there so it’s all bit contrasty - I could also put some light in the background but maybe it would be too bright so I think 3200 makes more sense as I want to have more nuances in the shadows and anyway top brightness will be my face around 60 ire

The only element that felt weird to me was the the girls voice at the end. It felt off to me, and I had just chalked it up to bad voice acting. Finding out that it was a AI voice replacement explained a lot of it, but I actually think it sounded to sterile and environmentally incorrect than it did truly bad.

@@dunnadidit sarcastic is my middle name. In all fairness I read that kind of a title as: guide to shooting commercial with zero budget, but obviously it wasn't the case and maybe not what you had intended at all. That's on me.
