I have a question about fill in the blanks section. If we are not sure enough about that section we can make any guess or leave and move on. Is there any negative mark when we should wrong on that section

Hello, in that specific part, you are encouraged to try to fill in the boxes even if you are unsure about the spelling, as suggested in the Official DET test guide, the only consideration here is that you should only use American spelling but this only applies for this specific part of the test. On the other hand, in the Choose the right word section, you should only choose the words you know are real, otherwise, your score will be penalized. I hope it helps

Hello sir. I am from India and i was wondering like in IELTS we got bands means if we got 7 bands we can get a visa but what about Duolingo English test?

Hello, I cannot tell you for sure since I don't know the specific country you are applying to, but usually with Duolingo, it depends on whether the university accepts it in the USA or Canada, and if they do and you have successfully applied and passed (normally the score varies between 95 to 125 more or less, depending on each university and program) then you can use it to issue the VISA. Contrary to IELTS which can be also used in the SDS (Sutends Direct Program) in Canada. All in all, most likely Duolingo will work for the VISA in the USA and Canada as long as you are sure the university accepts it and you confirm with your university representative before making any decisions.

Hello, sure. In the writing part accuracy is very important, so be sure to spell correctly and check your grammar instead of rushing. To improve your spelling and typing practicing dictation at lingua.c om will help, and for grammar, ChatGpt and Grammarly from their desktop site helps a lot. When it comes to speaking fluency is very important, that means that you shouldn't overthink the reasons and examples you provide, you could literaly say "silly" reasons as long as they are related to the question, since they are judging your English only. Hello Milan, most likely you will get from 110 to 125. Although production is usually a bit lower
