As soon as John said Eloise Hawking knows how to get back to the Island, you can see Ben's demeanor change, that is the info he needed and no longer needed John, so he killed him. Why? Because its Ben.

Ben is really weird about Eloise Hawking. Maybe it's because she has a lot of information he doesn't want anyone else to know. But he gets really jealous.

Ben needed information from Locke. He learned that Jin was still alive and that Locke had his wedding ring. And he learned that Eloise Hawking was in LA and could help him get back to the island. As to why he killed Locke, well... Ben has never been trustworthy. Locke forgot that.

No. He killed Locke because, as already stated, his death would lead to people coming back to the island. He just needed that info first, then he could use the death to make the other events transpire.

@@700Ezalb It is so much fun to trace events to the origin, to the one who planted the seed, sometimes it is really hard to see the web they spun. People think Ben is the only one manipulating them. That is why they don't understand.

Also Ben also has it known to recreate events of the first plane crash so John is playing as Christian (Jack's Dad) so either way John had to die there

I'm pretty sure you're correct on this one Lacey. Ben wanted information and that's why his reaction in the beginning was to save Locke, "he has to be alive, at least until i have the information i want". It just so happened that Locke gave Ben the required information just a couple of minutes after that, so he took advantage of the suicide on hotel scenario that Locke was about to do in the first place to get rid of him easier. The information being about Eloise being able to get them back on the island and her whereabouts (you can see how Ben's face changes after John says that). And John even gave extra information with "Jin's alive, i have his ring". So, having the Eloise information with the extra information that serves as leverage to make Sun decide to go back, he saw no further relevance in keeping John alive.

John always deserved better. This episode makes me so sad just like the ep when his dad takes his kidney. I just have such a soft spot for Locke and these episodes are so hard to watch 😢

Ben just wanted to know what John knew before he died he had no problem with John dying and the suicide note and noose helped make it not look like a murder.

Me wanting to go back to sleep, looks at phone and sees the episode where we find out Locke is alive.... Who needs sleep? I was so happy when this aired because Locke was my favorite character. Loved Hurley's reaction to John. It's crazy seeing him so use to seeing dead people. Also I hate Ben with a passion.

In season 1 I liked Jack the most. But over time he just became this whiney guy who gets mad at everything for no reason. And it's super annoying.

Love the reactions! Not trying to be a turd but I wish she wouldn’t made sooo many comments over intense scenes:/ this is one of the most emotional episodes and I feel so bad for John and how he was treated, but it gets overshadowed by talking over. I know we watch for the reaction but u still want them to absorb scenes, can always talk 2 seconds after. Again just a feeling I got, really enjoy watching both of them

Now that it has be established that Hurley speaks to dead people, it's clear that Dave was not a delusion. The fact that they met in the hospital at the same time Libby had her breakdown and was there, after her husband David died, opens the possibility that Dave was not there because of Hurley but because of Libby and that he may have bonded with Hurley because he was the only one interacting with him. I know it has never been officially confirmed that Dave and Libby's husband were the same person, but a lot points to it.

Not really.. I mean that Dave talking with Hurley don’t was real. What’s Hurleys mind trying to stuck Hurley from change. I’m not saying that Dave didn’t exist at some point, could had been Libby husband before, but that Dave is the island in season 2 was a ilusión from Hurley or was the MIB trying to kill Hurley. But I do believe that Libby husband really exist at some point in the past and could had been having the same apparience than Dave in the island. But I don’t believe that Libby husband wanted to try to be friend of Hurley in the Santa Rosa making Hurley still continue in his dark mind, that part don’t have too much sense to me

@@JeanPierre-hb9mv Of course the Island Dave was Smokey, trying to cause havoc and testing whether the Dave Hurley remembers had enough pull to manipulate him. But the hospital Dave is who I was talking about. Fact is, Hurley was never in the hospital because of delusions, nobody ever even accused him of having too vivid an imagination. He was there because of depression and guilt after the accident. He only started to have "visions" at the hospital, maybe the shock opened up his ability, and the pills they gave him for it never worked. Dave only went away when he was told outright that he was unwelcome. And why would Libby's husband not have been a manipulative jester who pokes at other people's weaknesses? Being a psychologist she might have appreciated his humour, after spending all day listening to people complaining. He seems like a d!ck, but that type of person to some is like a whetstone and even Hurley needed him to find his strength. (btw are you stalking me?)

The last episode had the girl with red hair talk about carthage and Hannibal,, this episode opens up in Tunisia.. Tunisia is where Carthage use to be

@@TJMalana I've noticed you referring to Charlotte as 'Zelena' a few times now in comments. Am really curious to know if you have watched a dubbed version of Lost and that's the name they gave her. It's the only thing I can think of to explain it.
