DUOTONE GRIP 3 vs Mamba!

Little overview of the Grip 3 compared to the Mamba. Big changes this year. Mainly the tail and reduction in weight due to the reduced size of UJ box, thruster boxes and change of construction.
New swallow tail, reduced weight and slightly flatter rocker aids release and makes the board feel faster and more responsive.
Grip 4 is also lighter due to the same changes to the UJ track length and construction.

watching the coparsion back to back the mamba pleases my eyes more, the rounded tail looks like work less resisting while turning.. but im sure, both are great boards and i would love to get my feet on them

The mamba is a great board. However having tried both. The speed and release from the grip 3 is really helpful. It doesn’t seem to have lost anything. Just gained some speed. Being lighter also makes it more efficient and exciting to ride

Good review , is the dlab construction, what the old team edition was ? They state the sls is cheaper, but lighter . Thanks

Heya. To be honest, we have not had much information yet on the DLAB. Meant to be a secret 🤫 I’m actually not sure. I think it will be different and high quality construction. So maybe stiffer!?

Hi, thanks for your video, I bought this week the grip 3 SLS 79l, concerning the weight, no différence between the Mamba 78, even the Mamba was lighter with 6.2 kg naked and the grip 3 79 is 6.4kg ! I am a bit disapointed when I saw your results ! may be you get a d-lab model ?

heya im sorry to hear your grip 3 is heavier! every board I have seen has been lighter! there must be discrepancies in the weights. I can confirm this is definitely not a DLAB as they are not released or avalible yet. the graphics is also very different....

@@worthingwatersports Well, on their web site, they writte that the average weight naked is 6.2kg, so not a real problem. What I wonder is why your board is so light. I think that 1.4 kg lighter is not possible even with the d-lab version. Are you sure that your wheight balance is accurate ? 😜😜
