Nah, as probably know by now, she survived that run in with the Lizard League because she hid a duplicate away just in case something happened to the ones she used in the field. She stays in what I'd call a reserve/semi-retired status for the rest of the series after that, helping out when things get real bad but mostly just living a quiet life with the Immortal outside of those instances. While we can assume that she eventually dies of old age, I think the series doesn't go far enough in the timeline for that to happen.

I agree that your Invincible and The Boys content are the best I have seen. I learn a lot from watching them, like Dupli-Kate having a brother. That reminded me of something. Remember in season one when the Mauler Twins were locked up? In one of the cells, there were multiple people that all looked exactly the same. That was most likely Kate's brother.

So according to the comics immortal was not actually Abraham Lincoln but looked a lot like him. AL was assassinated early then we thought and immortal took over for him during the civil war. This caused Mary to have a mental break because she knew that wasn't her husband but everyone was gaslighting her.

Not really. He fumbled Eve but Kate is terrible. She hooked up with her friend’s boyfriend and then she cheated on him with a dude who’s way too old for her. She’s like Amber in a way.

@@kennyobi9871 you're not wrong about kate tbh. But here's the thing, Eve was a certified baddy and he screwed up that shit because of his own issues. Kate just so happened to be that one shit friend who's like "it's what it looks like," when they betray you out of self-preservation. Keep in mind though, in the comics, Kate is more of a plot device than a really fleshed out character. We never really find out what her motives are in the original series so maybe it'll fleshed out later in the TV show.

Kate fell in love with immortal because he was the only other person who knew what it was like to die as often as she did. Rex also didn't treat Kat well. Add to that they weren't even in a serious relationship Rex in truth was a pos at that point but got a lot better

It's such a shame she hasn't gotten much time to shine in the show. All she's done is be apart of two affairs and of course been in the fights but she's not had a chance to show herself. The character moment they did give her was just waved off by so many viewers who call her a cheater and using her clones death as an excuse. Which is a shame because being able to clone yourself but still feel every clone death is such a haunting thing. Next to Shrinking Ray, Kate is my second fave side character.

On learning stuff probably brain capacity, which while still super human or top capacity (to move several bodies independently at once) but I doubt her learning capacity can handle several subjects

Just to point something out: I don't think Kirkman picked out the name "Fung Cha" as a generic chines sounding name. Both "Fung" and "Cha" were historic common Manderian surnames. "Fung" meaning in abundance and "Cha" meaning anywhere from "to weither away" to a flower. Lazy? sure, you can say that. Like calling a Spanish character "Garcia Gomez" But I really don't think he was being offensive on purpose.

Deliberately offensive, eh, maybe. Definitely kinda insensitive and face-palm-worthy dumb on the same level of George Lucas when he created Jar Jar Binks (minstrel overtones), Watto (antisemitic stereotypes ), and the Trade Federation aliens (Japanese stereotypes) in the Star Wars prequels. It's nothing to get up in arms over but it's definitely cringe. Giving the Asian characters multiplicity powers definitely has huge Yellow Peril stereotypes of China's overpopulation and military numbers being a threat to the West. It's not the first or only examples of Asian characters being an analog for faceless, nameless clones "who all look same" such as the Chinese triplet brothers from Pacific Rim. It's not remotely original, is what I'm saying.
