Good that you did this. I mentioned it in the last vid. Enthusiasts look for this as the first sign on authenticity. They were very rough welds from factory. Great to see you making it how it should be 👍

The last episode the true Torana guys pointed this out and for you guys to actually go and fix it is top work. To make an episode just on this is excellent well done the true fans will appreciate it. Keep up the good work.

Wow seriously you guys preach stuff and you practice it too. Like you said we don’t know everything or we forget stuff and the key is listening to others and this battery tray is an example of that. There was clearly nothing wrong with the work, but you’ve preached you want it to look like nobody has repaired the car and you knew it had to be changed. Excellent effort

Well done Darryl its coming up perfect. I would have just left it with 4 welds. I guess your just doing what the owners wants. Keep up the good work and Mick get back to work.

2:16 Bloody hell, I don't think I've ever seen so many camber / castor shims in a Torana, or any Holden for that matter.
@anthonybezzina26384 ай бұрын
apparently there was factory notice given to dealers to move the battery tray closer to the rad support.Depending on which plant the trays all were in slightly different positions.

You do a great job but these videos are a little boring . Entire episode on grinding 60mm of weld 🤦🏻♂️
@greglong32754 ай бұрын
I have following you two blokes a long time and I find the videos so interesting but not this one, the complete video was about removing two welds and rewelding a third one so there were three not four welds as per original. There was very little to get excited about.

Whole episode for one weld not worth watching anymore

Thought it was great that they actually responded to the Torana fans.

Maybe so but a whole episode for basically removing 2 welds and then adding 1 talk about milking
@davidvincent28384 ай бұрын
There's welding and great welding! These guys are just showing the detail that goes into a factory resto...... well better than factory resto but maintaining factory detail. I think it's awesome.

Anyway I’m done with watching these guys unsubscribed a whole episode on a few welds it could have been done in the first ten minutes of the episode
@CarnutrepairsPanelpaint-ts7wn4 ай бұрын
I’m looking forward to the next episode and I will stay subscribed. The title says battery tray. It’s not an episode.
