Isn't it wonderful to see the running game played across the globe. To see what my coaches from a young age always encouraged, I'm in my mid 60's, to ''LET THE BALL SING.'' We'd run it from our tryline and everywhere else. To see that at International level and that's all teams is superb. Dupont is a lead proponent of the running game. He sees the play and gaps four or five phases ahead. A great halfback. He reminds me of the great halfbacks in Australian Ken Catchpole, NZ's Sid Going and of course Sir Gareth Edwards of Wales. Let it sing.

Mais en toute franchise, s'ils etaient les meilleurs a leur poste, aucun n'etait capable de jouer a plusieurs postes et de surclasser les autres. 9,10,11 ...Dupont sait tout faire et il n'a pas de faiblesse...vitesse, acceleration, skills, defense, vision. Donc oui, c'est le joueur complet par excellence, le meilleur du monde, et il est adoube comme tel par les grands noms du rugby encore vivants.

I don't disagree. He has a long career ahead of him, but the combination of speed, power, tactical awareness, bringing others into the game is extraordinary. Fourie du Preez, considered by many as one of the greatest Springboks ever (and a scrum half) was superb, but even as a biased Springbok supporter (and a huge fan of du Preez), it's impossible to not see how incredible du Pont is.

Quant à Dupont il semblait beaucoup plus "normal"...
