Wow, great video! I have sold a few of the LGH engines that came from express vans and I knew the block and heads were the same as the LML, heard the turbo and egr systems were different but I had no idea how much else. Big thumbs up to you!!

Thank you for teaching me something I was completely disinterested in ... It doesn't run on Methanol, doesn't have a 3 stage Nos, and I see No Holley Ecu and Atomizer injectors.. After watching just as happy anyway , brains fed TY 🤤🤩 Edit... P.S. (Now im googling all about these engines lolz...dangit.

Hey Red, my ABS came on but when I got it hooked up at autozone their scanner showed that the ABS passed the “test”, it showed green so I’m wondering why is that? It’s a 97 Ford f150 xlt 4.6L

The code reader that Autozone used likely doesn't read ABS codes, only powertrain codes. The green light means all the emission system self-tests have passed. You need to have the codes scanned with a real scanner, not a simple code reader. This will scan all the modules including the ABS module and will get all codes including manufacturer-specific codes that cheap code readers will miss.

@@briizcustoms9543 I'm not the guy to ask that. I only use Snap-On which can be found for 1K used but cost 5K+ new. I don't have much experience with the more DIY scanners that are cheaper. Although you might try looking at Autel. They have high-end stuff at a much lower cost than Snap-on.

I used to be a die hard ford guy i used to cuss duramaxes up and down when they first came out they were definitely the biggest spaghetti bowl as you called it we called it peeling the onion layer after stinky layer but now theyre all spaghetti bowls i work on all of the big 3 and it doesnt matter and oddly enough i drive nothing but duramaxes and i bought my wife a yukon denali with the 6.2 owning a 5.4 ford was the straw that broke the camels back for me i will never own another ford

How much time did it take you to switch over all the components?

The whole job took like 3 days. The parts swap from engine to engine is about an 8-9 hour ordeal.

I bought a truck with an LGH blown motor if I buy an LML reman block all the parts you’re saying will bolt onto the LML engine

Yes, all of the LGH components will bolt onto the LML block.

I'm sorry but I wouldn't be of any help as I simply don't know as the only internal work I have done on Duramax engines has been head gasket replacement.
