Durkee 8x14 in hooping and embroidery instructions

How would I do a shirt. All videos I have seen has been just the scrap of fabric. Can you please explain?

Judging by the looks of it, this hoop isn't made for shirts. Moreso for hoodies or jackets that can be unzipped or unbuttoned, and then clamped onto the frame. I wouldn't recommend doing an embroidered design this big on a shirt anyway. They can feel really stiff, itchy, and uncomfortable for the person wearing it.

@@JorgeRojas-ut3wj Thanks for the response. I am new to this and need to do hoodies that are 2xl and up. How big is the design supposed to be. It just look like it would be too small on my husband 3xl hoodie.

@@pattycaswell9139 The problem with the Personna PRS100 is that it's only made for an 8×8 sewing field. This right here would help you to do something bigger, but it looks like it's only made for open-ended items like unzippable hoodies, jackets, or blankets. And it looks like you'd have to find your own creative way to clamp down your garments because it doesn't have a built in clamping mechanism. A bigger sewing field with better hoops would require an upgrade to a multi needle machine.

The way you showed was not how I was taught by my brother trainer. Yours was not tight, it was wavy.
