Try keeping it on Propane. Saves your Carburetor. Plus, you can keep large volumes of Propane for Decades. A Tip would be to Change the Oil after the First few hours to get the metal out.

I have the 12000 watt version. Ive had it for a few years. On propane it didn't run for two years because i forgot to do periodic testing, no problem. Fired right up. Powers my whole house.

Buy a 4000 inverter generator. It runs most stuff and they run like 9 hours in under 2 gallons. I have one like these and only used it once a day to cool down my house. I didn’t know how long the power was gonna be out in Texas during Beryl. So I alternated between both generators. Just my 2 cents. I’m converting this big boy to run on natural gas so I can run it indefinitely and not worry about fuel. -Kj5bpp

I use the same set up to run my house. Recommend installing a hard start relay on the AC. First time I tested it without the relay the condenser wasn't getting enough power and caused it not to run efficiently for two days. Runs much better once I installed the relay with no problems since.

I leave non-ethonal gas in my generators. Start them on the first of each month, turn the fuel off, and run them dry. Cycle new gas to keep it fresh. 20 years later, they one pull start. Every month, I know they are good to go.

like the hybrid...used to have the Coleman 6250 ...Tecumseh motor pull start ...only thing was hard to start in winter in western nova scotia hard cranking in the cold ..but kept things going in an outage ..i now have a 10000 briggs & stratton electric start much easier and a couple of champion generators always a backup

Thanks for the feedback. I tested it 2 weeks ago with the central HVAC and everything in the house. Ran it with no issues. Was waiting for a hurricane to have a need to video this, but when you have a generator, you won't need it, when you don't have one, you wish you did. If no hurricane next month, I'll make an update video to show it in action.

Thanks so much for the video.. we tried to use ours with propane, but unfortunately, the regulator was bad so we had to use gas instead. Mine seems to be running loud. It doesn’t kick down when you do the idle button. I saw you touch a choke on the side of it would that help me and kicking it down a little bit? I’m in South Carolina and we just got walloped by hurricane tropical storm Heleen.

need an inverter generator. Furnaces, appliances, ACs are all using electronic circuits these days (plus your TV, PCs, and Ham radios)

73's🎙KD9OAM🎧 I bought a 10k 13 years ago when we lost power because of a tornado, by the time I got home from the dealer the power came on never used it, it still in the garage, I'm hoping the tornados see it and stay away.
