Great episode! Another card that combos well with Victor is Defiled Crypt // Cadaver lab. If you unlock both rooms you also get a zombie which is an enchantment. 5 mana for 3 eerie triggers

Really enjoying the show as someone newer to draft but drafting in paper weekly. One thing that may be helpful early in sets is giving an example of what the perfect draft might realistically look like. At least in the stronger or more difficult color pairs. The hardest thing for a new player is seeing how the less powerful archetypes come together and when to pivot.

Fear of Missing Out is also great with the ragged playmate. I do think the playmate is kinda underrated. It combines pretty well with Infernal Phantom and Vicious Clown

I had a very fun 7-0 with Jolly Balloon man in a mardu deck. Another poor stats card that's good to copy is Attack in the Box because you can swing for 5 in the air every turn.

Awakening hall won me the last game to qualify to day 2 yesterday. In UB control it was pretty nasty. Had 13 cards in the deck and I was dead on board, top decked it and made my way to day two. :)

So I watched this before going to my Sealed RCQ on thesame Saturday the Open would start, managed to get 14th place at the RCQ and then had the energy to spend gold on all of my accounts to do Traditional and managed to turn those entries into gems except for the side-account with the most gold reserves. Wanting those gems I fired a 4th Traditional bullet and managed to get to day 2 with that and then drafted in a decently open red seat, thinking I wanted to be red-black because I started with Overlord of the Balemurk and picked up an early mid-pack Disturbing Mirth. Since I also picked up an early Arabella and a Raucous Carnival in addition to a Terramorphic I ended up picking up a second Arabella, a Midnight Mayhem and a Unsettling Twins to go with my Enduring Courage double Razorkin Hordecaller base instead and went 2-2 for max draft 1 gems.

Found also out that, all the 5 rares of the enduring cycle that come back as an enchantment make 2/2 with crypt when they die.

Cadavar lab has been a lot of fun, trophied with 2 copies of it in a GB deck that wanted to get to late game with two chandeliers and say its names and grind to an inevitable flood of zombies

I have struggled with Fear of Impostors. I was never sure how it would math out. It's obviously best countering a bomb late game. But actually, in UB specifically, I think it might be a little better than Twist Reality. If you're playing a control deck, which UB tends to be moreso than other colors, being able to hold up a creature for a suprise block, maybe you have another instant you can use, if they drop a bomb you can counter it, or you have an instant speed enchantment to trigger eerie. Besides, if you're playing control, you're gonna have a lower chance of hitting a creature with the manifest dread option on Twist Reality.

Love it all, but yeah, I’d tune in weekly. Maybe you could make a video reflecting back on cards you underrated and another on cards you overrated. You tend to mention those things offhand in these videos but if you wanted I’m sure you could pull that out to make a separate video

I dont think hardened escort is very good in general, but it works pretty nicely with the 2/2 deathtouch in green and even better with the white uncommon that returns creature eith cmc 3 or less if it's tapped (can return the escort if they block that)
