Same Dan. Was scrolling through my KZbin liked playlist and went deep. 14.5 years later remembering this old video with my wife. We were just young 21 year olds when this came out. Great times.

I’ve been with my wife almost 12 years. We were just cranking the big home stereo to the actual version of this song and made me think of the literal video. She found it funny but in a hardy har har kind of sarcastic way.

Been looking for old KZbin heads like you guys to ask, does anyone remember the Jingle Bell Rock one? It was so good! They even made two versions of it back to back just like the Darryl and John versions. Both were the most hilarious things I had ever heard! Wish someone would bring it back

I really love these "Literal Version" videos! They're all terrific and hilarious, including this one! My favorite parts of this one are, "When I open this, the cards all fly out.", "I'm gunna pull a gun on you, but don't be afraid. I'm silly, so...", and, "Do you like my mullet. Business in front, party in back!"! I love every part of this, though! Also, I like how the guy in the video looks confused when he "floats up to the next level in a magic chair"! Keep up the great work, DustoMcNeato!

What makes this video different from other literal versions is that is not only a very good adaptation of the singer to the original one but also add some creative phrases and they are told in a funny way like "you have really big glasses" or "I wish that they were better" when refering to the books, that has nothing to do with the video but it adds funny value. I just love it.

Even though the person who made Total Eclipse of the Heart, or remade it, so to speak, has more hits (and that one is damned funny!), I really think that your the best literal video maker. That fact that they are really funny AND, maybe more importantly, you redid the music slightly and imitated the singers (All well, but your Bowie is great!) means you got the total package. Please do Sowing the Seeds of Love, by Tears for Fears, or any other video with Bowie in it!
