Hi Blaine, both options are great for middle infield. The DP15 has less padding on the palm which offers you a little more feel and is a tighter fit than the 1786. For the DP15 everything from the wrist strap to the finger stalls will be more snug. We recommend going to a dealer and trying them both on to see which you like more!

Rolled dual welting is when thin strips of leather are skived thin & rolled for a long lasting shape and a quicker break in while Dual Welting is the exposed edges of leather. It is not rolled. Both types of welting serve the same function - they add structure to the fingers and help maintain the pocket. Rolled dual welting is a little softer which helps for a quicker break in.

The A2K DP15 was created with single palm construction and a reduced heel pad.

I recommend the A2K DP15 GM as its Pro Stock Select Leather is the best we have available and is even more durable than the A2000 DP15. But you can't go wrong with either - both are great options.

Hi Kaden, Wilson Glove Oil will not break your glove down, but we prefer our Pro Stock Glove Conditioner because you can control the amount applied. Also, it has important minerals like Lanolin and Vitamin E that preserve the leather on your glove and will help it last longer. Many glove oils do not contain these ingredients.

The A1K 1787 (11.75”) would be great option for a player with a small hand. The length and shallow pocket are great for the hot corner.

Kaden, both types of dual welting work well and contribute to the overall feel of the glove. A2Ks and A2000s feel a little different because of a few construction differences - the welting, Pro Stock vs Pro Stock Select Leather, and double palm construction in the A2K contribute to this. Try them both on in a store to decide which glove feels the most comfortable on your hand.

The A2000 1787 would be a great option for you because it's 11.75 inches and has the H-web you like. You’ll get a little extra reach without having too much glove for the times you play short stop.

When using glove conditioner, apply first to a cloth and then to your glove. Always start with less conditioner than you think you’ll need - you can always add more, but you can’t take it away.

A1K gloves cost $179.95 while A2000 gloves cost $229.95. In the A1K series we do not have a 12” glove, but we have an 11.5” OTIF that is great for a pitcher who also plays the infield. A2Ks use ProStock Select Leather which is the top 5% of our ProStock Leather. Because the amount of leather is limited, there would not be enough to offer enough custom colors in it

am Our A2K DP15 and A2K DATDUDE gloves are both 11.5” and based off of our 1786 model. The main difference between these two gloves is that our DP15 comes with Pedroia Fit, which comes with a low profile heel for more feel and it will also fit a little more snug on your hand. Both gloves are great, so you should buy the glove that feels most comfortable for you!

A2k is triple sorted to make it softer leather and quicker break in time; also it's Wilson top 5% leather they get in. A2000 leather is stiffer and is one level down from A2k but I do prefer A2000 over A2k
