Win, lose, or draw, Dustin is my favorite fighter of all time. He is never in a boring fight and his perseverance is beyond admirable. Him being open about something that is so difficult for a tough guy to be open about is impressive. He is very likable, but he’s also confident in who he is and what he is about. He doesn’t fold to pressure. He may be outmatched on some nights, but he always gives his all. Dustin can be put out, but you cannot make him wilt. He cannot be out-dogged. Something tells me that DP will win this fight. I think Dustin is going to utilize some in close upward strikes and setup a guillotine choke, unironically. I think he rocks Islam, not completely wobbled, just stunned. Islam engages the takedown against the fence, Dustin sets up his feet to jump guard, and sets it in DEEP. Even Khabib said Dustin’s guillotine was deep, he just didn’t get his legs around Khabib. I think he corrects that error against Islam. It would be too perfect, and like a diamond, it will be. I’m not denying that Dustin is the underdog, nor am I arguing that he shouldn’t be. I just think this will be the night that Dustin puts it all together for his most perfect performance.
