Volk should've done what Dustin did after his own headkick KO; taken proper freakin rest! 😳
@ryanb87368 ай бұрын
Volk got knocked out hard by Islam. Volk knows he got cocky. He knows his fans gave Islam a hard time about the first fight, so Islam told Volks fans he will finish him in round one by knockout to silence them. He did just that. That mentality hurts Volk knowing that the fans made Islam do it. Volk laughed and said it’s never gonna happen. Then it did. So that whole drama will stay in his head. Glad Islam has reached out to him a few times and talked to Volk. Volk seemed better after his loss to Topuria. Mentally he took it better. He bounced back fast on that one. I wish he never took the Islam fight. He should have focused on 145 and Topuria. He knew that was his big fight. This is why Dana is now holding back on guys jumping weight classes for the belt.

This is one of the best, emotionally stirring interviews I have ever watched! Dustin the Diamond Poirier is a real-life hero. I’m proud to say that he has always been one of my all-time favourite MMA fighters. He has matured beyond his years and is the perfect role model for any up and coming MMA fighter. Through the years, I’ve put up numerous posts showing my appreciation and support for him and never once have I ever doubted his skills. He is truly special - a warrior who brings it every time he steps into the octagon. I am not a fortune-teller, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he finally achieves his life-long dream of becoming the undisputed champion of the UFC lightweight division. I know of no other fighter who deserves it more than he does. Can you imagine what it would be like if he became champ using the elusive guillotine? I’d most probably be dancing in celebration for more than a week! I can even visualize producers scrambling to make a movie on his life! Seriously, I hope and pray that God will soon grant his wish to finally achieve his ultimate dream inside the octagon.

Amazing man that makes me cheer when he fights and be touched by his life perspectives. Thanks for showing your grit and vulnerabilities Dustin, there’s a true power in that.
