The fact of the matter is this: Dustin has been grinding, scratching and clawing his way to the top since the loss, whereas Conor got complacent. Dustin also developed a wicked chin, I knew when Conor threw a straight left that didn't take Poirier out that it was over. Give Dustin his flowers... The amount he improved since that loss is actually ridiculous. Should be the champ.

@@12nicoll yea, it’s a trade off. When your flat footed you punch harder, but get punched more. When your bouncing in and out you throw softer blows, but get hit less. I think this is why Connor would appear to just pick apart his opponents. he would get close, throw his punches, then get away.

@@ForgiveMe00 yea all that bouncing in and out the first diaz fight he was getting himself tired and then he got clipped. He stood his ground more in the rematch and conserved energy. He saw himself hitting power shots on diaz and thought that is where he is best at... But in reality its matchups. Diaz is alot easier to hit than the top 5 of lw. Conor needed his elusive movement/counters against dustin. Dustin is a machine tho and can go 5 rounds. Conor has to win by ko/tko by the 2nd round. If it goes past that dustin is gonna clean up.

The face of a company or sport has to be who people find the most fun to watch. A quiet and reserved guy ain’t it. Look at Ali or Tyson or Mayweather. People love a cocky fighter. They’ll watch him to see him win or lose. Either way they’re watching. If everyone was super reserved and respectful of each other and it’s all hugs after the fight people find it less interesting. Then UFC fighters go back to making 15 grand a fight in exchange for mild brain damage.

@@kallepikku4991 I believe Dustin is a top 3 contender in the LW division, and a continuously improving, and evolving fighter as well. But a one off win against the Gaethje of 3 years ago, is not relevant to the challenge that Gaethje presents at this time. Justin has improved, and evolved his skill set, and fight management drastically more so than even Dustin has over this time. My reasoned, and objective opinion is that the LW division at this time has Dustin, Justin, and Charles as the truly relevant top seeds. Unfortunately, Tony has slipped quite noticeably, while these three have continued to evolve, and improve, so he must again prove worthy to be considered. But that's just my HO.

There's only so much water weight you can cut before you start eating away at your muscle. @@KonohazFinest Dustin proved he has evolved better than Conor since their last fight in 2014. So as of for now Dustin is the better guy. But let’s see how the rematch plays out.

I respect Dustin alot for his response to "do you feel like you have Connors number" and him replying "every fight is different" he's a humble ass guy honestly I feel if anyone else had beaten Connor in the fashion Dustin did they would be talking hella shit and almost bragging about it.

Louisiana men are usually humble and respectful. Dustin has a great story and has been at the bottom in life. It’s awesome to see him on his feet again and making the best of his opportunity. He deserves a fight for the belt. Dustin is a good man and does a lot for Lafayette and Louisiana loves the diamond. Shine on you crazy diamond.

Dustin. Realest dude in MMA, deserves every good thing that's coming to him. The win over Macgregor was totally inevitable. We need more Dustins.

Hey Joe, love your show. Curious about one thing maybe you’ve already done it and I missed it. Would you please talk about if UFC fighters study film of their opponents as much as the NFL does. Could you make this a show possibly about that topic please. Thank you in advance.
