I wrecked my 110 in to a concrete light pole at about 40 ft up and nailed the ground hard and flew away just fine( cause it landed props up) I would call that durable

I'm considering buying a racing drone at some time (Basically to learn to fly in acro mode FPV since it looks absolutely amazing.) and this one is even available at my local retailer, so I'm gonna be watching this review with bated breath. Hopefully it won't end up in too many pieces... =p And it comes with a Tx too, I've never even heard of the DEVO7 before but seeing as I literally started flying drones a few months ago that is probably not surprising... And I guess this one has its own set of proprietary stuff and needs specific receivers? XD

I love that you reveiw alot of smaller quads most drone reveiwers stick to only the mainstream quads only a few do everything including more toy grade stuff love your channel will be here for a long time.

Would you recommend this or the 150 for first racing drone? I have flown other drones, but never anything as fast/ quick as a racing drone

I've read you can change the fpv output from 200 to 600 on the transmitter. so maybe that would help?

Ok, so the Tx that comes with this one uses DSSS, which basically means that it blankets the whole band you're using in carrier waves and then dumps your actual signal onto whichever one you pick for the moment, instead of the frequency hopping thingy that the FrSky does? So what does that mean in practice? Dammit Jim, I'm a biomedical scientist, not a signal engineer! XD

Hi Dustin. Have you tried any other goggles?? its to bad Walkera puts such nice drones but they All seam to have some sort of issues!. The new Voyger4 has issues with the way point settings. $3000+ drone and you can not use the way point. if you do there is a great chance you will lose you Voyger4. Walkera put them out knowing this any way. Sounds like they did the same with the 110. As always great review!

Getting about 400 meters FPV (granted it could use more TVL) out of mine with EV800's, so no idea why you had such bad breakup. Weirdness.

That's pretty much the same FPV experience I had with my Torrent 110. Horrible TX/antenna combo. I just ripped all the VTX and camera out and installed a separated TX03 transmitter and a RunCam Micro. Beautiful FPV now and that CP antenna is so much superior. 25mw works great vs the 200mw transmitter they included which barely 'worked'.

Wow from BNF to RTF there's only 24 GBP difference , that makes for a very nicely priced TX . Nice vertical and forward punch for a 2S . It's a shame the VTX signal was so problematic . All in all a great review Dustin and some very cool flying : Thumbs up buddy :)

+Hagemeister Yes you need Goggles. There are many cheap and good goggle available. Get some within your budget that have a 32 to 40 channel Video receiver in them and you should be good. There are many to choose from in the description I linked below the video.

Hagemeister try the aomway commanders or the sky zone v2. They both have built in diversity. They're 333-370$ so idk. if you tell me your price range I can narrow it down a bit

Hi I liked the review but wish you didn't spend so much time flying FPV it gave me a headache. lol How is it possible that Walkera can put out some decent flying quads but have such terrible FPV systems? Have you had a chance to try some different goggles? It did seem to handle the 3 cell that surprised me.

If you mean, "can you record directly on camera" then no. It depends on if your goggles can record.

Dustin Dunnill no I only own one pair. I think the vtx is not very good. I put a furious fpv circular antenna and it helped a little. I am disappoint with camera quality don't know why walkera can not put a decent camera in their quads.

You must match the voltage. Never use higher voltage unless you know something about electronics and the circuit you are powering. Voltage is the most important attribute of a battery (power supply).
