I just ordered one of these from Amazon. I had a CX10W for a while, but it was hard to maintain altitude and fly fpv, and I do not like controlling the quad with a touch screen...this should be a great little quad. One thing I will say, the Wifi on here is the best I have seen on a toy grad quad. There is very little lag, and video feed is very stable. This should be Cheerson's biggest hit since the original CX-10.

Thanks I lost the instructions and this video help sort the problem of the App taking over control :) I Mod'ed the phone holder so I can fit a 7 or 10 tablet ( 12 max ) to the controller.

I just got mine a few days ago, it keeps going to the left alot everytime I start it up, crashed into my wall a few times. I've never used a drone before so this is my first time. Guess maybe I should take it outside into a large open space to really learn how to control it better. I hope it's not broken or defective or something.

Hey Dustin,I have had mine for awhile and I have to say one of my favorite first camera "mini" drones. I viewed your post back when I decided to buy one. Very dependable for its type. My problem now is the camera has stopped working with the "dedicated" app CX-10WIFI(there was a recent JULY 2017 update) I decided to try the app CX_WIFIUFO (also by Steve Chan) and that app works! Only prob is the CX_WIFIUFO app does not contain all the flying functions as it was NOT meant for this CX-10WD-TX. Weird how it does connect to the camera. Trying to get answers from CHEERSON Tech support but various "try this" responses are not fixing the problem. Have you updated your app since your review and still have a working camera? Using a Samsung Galaxy S5(android). My wife's IOS Apple phone did not work either...?? Has to be the latest update???

FYI I got two of these. One Silver and one Gold with transmitters. I was thinking I could fly both with the same transmitter. You must fly the Silver one with the transmitter it came with and the Gold one with the transmitter it comes with. You cannot fly the Silver one with the Gold ones transmitter or the Gold one with the Silver ones transmitter. Got mine on Ebay for $25.99 in the US. Can't say no to the price. Only downside is a short flight time but that is expected for such a small Quad. Doe;s so much for so little. Great Video!!

Great review! Very informative! Question: do you think the flight time would be longer when only using the remote? No phone / tablet connected at all? Hopefully the camera is not on when using the remote only.

Great review. Looks like they released the working app. AndyRC showed you originally had to d/l an app from a rather dodgy virus filled site so was waiting until they sorted this. QUESTION : Can you get spare props for this?

Yes, for example: www.geekbuying.com/item/Cheerson-CX-10-RC-Quadcopter-Spare-Parts-Blade-Set-339309.html You pop the propellers out using a plier then you just push the new one. Look closely at the propeller before putting it in though, as it may be the wrong one. You also get 4 spare ones in the box bt (think he mentioned that already)

This is the best mini drone out there. The micro drone 3.0 says it is 760p but its fake. It has the exact quality as this one. Why i say this is better because it is cheaper... :)

Try all the calibrations as stated in manual. Also try different batteries in both quad and controller. Sounds like maybe battery is dead and it won't take off.

I have a nighthawk 280 and honestly it's a lot of fun but only if you have a lot of space to fly so if ur looking for something that's less weight and cheaper the eachine might be your best bet
