I should add that her voice was warm and very sensual...like whispering in your ear and wrapping you in a warm blanket. Many aren't aware that she was an out bisexual woman even in the 70s. Later she identified as lesbian. She still turned men on. Such a sexy lady.

Yes, You are Correct! This was the Year of 1970. Now it doesn't have Her in the Choreography of the Song. But the Background Sound sounds to Me like something that Carole King would've Produced it. Nonetheless One of My Friends Introduced Me to Dusty Springfield. He Started Me off with Her "No Easy Way Down." I Loved Her ever since. It was around that time when He Introduced Me to Her that I found that She was what You call a Blue-Eyed Soul Music Singer and She also Sung in the Background of a Song with 'The Pet Shop Boys' Band in the 80s.

Love Dusty Springfield. this is from her 1968 album Dusty… Definitely and was a b side to her 1970 single How can I be sure. Though she would never take credit during her career, she was a perfectionist verging on obsessive when it came to producing her records. Lack of back up singers could have been a conscious decision on her part. This song is a groove ❤️

"Spooky" started out as an instrumental that cracked the top 100. Then the band Classics IV added lyrics, dropped the song in time for Halloween, and landed themselves a top ten hit with it in 1967. Dusty Springfield's version rates very high among the numerous covers of the song, at least in my book.

I think this was released by Dusty as a b-side to another song, around 1970 (but I think it was recorded in the 60s). I first heard it in the late 1990s when it was used as the theme music to a Carlsberg beer advert. Its a great song, so smokey and cool. Dusty was an amazing singer.

Grate choice! I love dusty !! She sang so good and dramatic! And yes empress, this song was sang in the 70s by a male group. There the ones the made a bit on the radio the band was called classics 1v
