I'm Dutch, but never knew this about our flowers and bulbs. I will try to buy organic in the future as I do with my fruit, vegetables and milk. Thank you for making this video

organic does not mean they use not pesicides. just its grown from soil and organic material is used as fertiziler at same point . they can sprey them with uranium liquid and still it says its organic or many types of pesticides

@@Niklez7 In Europe? Rules are different here. I used to buy Paprika from a large paprika grower. His plants were protected with beneficial insects. Can't use any uranium liquid etc or the bugs will die.

There are no actual state records of how many pesticides are used in the Netherlands. Just estimates.

Wow! Im surprised only 1% are organic, I thought it would be at least 10%, which is still a small percentage but not as tiny as 1
