Thank you for watching! This was one of the best days with a planned visit to the International Court of Justice, then a walk around Rotterdam followed by a spontaneous trip around Delft.

The upper part of the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft is black because they used a more porous stone there that cannot be cleaned in the traditional way. By the way, I was born near that windmill overthere...

Good to see you found a higher resolution (720) than the one on your previous videos (360) 😉Maybe even increase to 1080? Enjoy your travels! BTW: Dubbelvla is not a drink really. It's more like a simple desert with two different tastes (dubbel = double). Lesson learned I guess 😀

@@PH61a These videos are a learning process for me. This was the first video I realized I needed to upload as a higher resolution. I will go 1080 in the future. Thank you for watching!

The real ports are all outside the city these days, more towards the coast. You can get a Spido tour boat at the Erasmus Bridge for a port tour.

Thank you! I realized pretty quickly that I wasn't going to make it to the port itself.

@@TravelswithJimmy The oldest ports are converted into living areas. Those from the late 18 to 19 hundreds are still in use but for local trade. Modern shipping goes by big oil tankers and enormous container vessels, those are handled at the 'Maasvlakte' an artificial harbor extension stretching into the North Sea.

🤣🤣🤣that is custard (vanilla/choco flavor) not chocolate milk..😂

I realized that later. The packaging threw me off. In the US, cartons are for milk, and custard and yogurts are packaged in plastic cups. I appreciate using cartons though. More eco-friendly than plastic.
