@@articals115 Mee eens. Ik vond hem nog steeds goed. Maar ik denkt dat het nog shockerender was geweest als het realistischer was. Zonder al dit Apocalypse Now achtige. Of die zwarte unifiormen. Die scenes spreken voor zich. Hier hoeft echt geen 'Boohoo enge zwarte SS achtige doodseskader' dramatisering bij.

In the movie this is not the scene where they arrive in Indië but when they return to Holland after their mission in Indië, from 00:00 to 01:24. After 01:24 it goes back in time and they actually arrive in Indië.

That scene was quite awkward for a starting scene. Our of nowhere the scene where they come back and not exactly being welcomed.

i agree but nobody cares since Japan is Netherlands' ally, Java island was used as a port by European settlements to modernize Japan just for them to commit war crimes, the island king already have science trade with Denmark (gun) but was isolated from international, during the dutch east indies, no natives convert to Christianity, black Sinterklaas, islamophobes, and no natives speak Dutch just Indo dialect, I wish there is a connection between us but you guys are too racist and distance yourself from us, and we see you as an illegal immigrant from a different kingdom, you can always romanticize yourself but you cannot dictate.
