The chocolate kisses are similar to something we have in the UK called "Wallnut Whips" - chocolate shells with a whipped eggwhite/sugar centre, only topped with a candied wallnut and without the waffle at the base. The way i eat haring is cut 1 into small pieces, pluck every miniscule bone from it (you can eat those normally but i dont like the texture). cut some onion and tomato, add 2 spoons of mayonaise (not the belgian sour one but sweet one) Mix it up, and put it on a sandwich. Believe me, it may not sound great but its 1000x better than just a haring with onion.

Currrywurst!!!! I ate currywurst often when I was in Germany. I need to learn how to make the sauce so I can make it here in America.

Interested in the curry sausage. What kind of sausage and what's the most common curry? The salty licorice sounds great.
