In January, I was flying back to Texas from Turin and I sat next to a woman that lives in Houston, but was from Terschelling. Gorgeous place. 10.5 hour flight and at one point, she asked me a question in Dutch and I responded in English without thinking. She got the biggest grin and was so happy. My brain never registered that she didn't ask me in English. I discovered your videos on that flight and I've been hooked ever since. PS: I got some really funny looks in Schipol when they heard my accent. Y'all don't get many cowboys over here, huh", they loved it. Going back in August. Graag gedaan en leuk om te horen dat het zo goed in de smaak valt! :) Het kan allebei: "het mooiste" kan altijd, want je kan een superlatief altijd met "het" gebruiken. Maar "de mooiste" kan ook want dan refereer je aan "de vrouw". Met "het mooiste" kun je ook naar "het meisje" refereren. In elk geval kan het allebei :)

"haar haar" is ook zo'n leuk nederlands dingetje dat doet me denken aan zo'n kinderlogica verhaaltje over een kind dat iets van z'n zusje had gestolen, en hem toen werd gezegd "geef terug, dat is van haar" waarop hij antwoordde: "dat is helemaal niet van haar, dat is van hout!" (sprekende over het object)
