Good news Kim! My Dutch keeps getting better and better! 😃🇳🇱👍 I still need my English subtitles stabilisers cuz they REALLY help me a lot and I’ve been watching the 2018 Polly Pocket on KZbin in Dutch and I’m managing quite well! 😃 Even if the captions fail, my skills based on what I think I know might help! 😃 Basically I think I might eventually only need to see the English subtitles ONCE! And that MAYBE just MAYBE the only stabilisers that I need at this point! ;) I tried watching something in English with Dutch subtitles but that’s too hard for me! :/ Oh yeah! Call me sexiest but Polly and her friends basically talk about the most typical girly girl things!

Je kunt het altijd zo goed uitleggen. 'Men' komt voor mijn gevoel soms dichterbij 'we' (of 'je') dan 'ze'. Dat is bijvoorbeeld in: "Men kan hier beter niet te hard rijden". Het is inderdaad wel formeler. En namens Piet Lut: zzp'er is met kleine letters :-D.

I’m REALLY struggling with trying to find out what the lyrics are in the Dutch dub of Polly Pocket’s 2018 intro! :( I asked one of my many online Dutch friends if she could figured it out for me and even SHE said she couldn’t hear it properly either! :( And rock on the 2018 Polly Pocket! XD It MAYBE a cheap Ant-Man and The Wasp knock off but OH MY GOD! 😃 Mattel REALLY put a lot of thought into that cartoon’s lore! 😃 So much better than Miraculous Ladybug did with Zag Toon’s creative ideas yet still beating around the bush receptive core concepts and has very little to no lore at all! 😝😤 Sadie Sparks is much more! Very repetitie and doesn’t care about the lore at all!

Awesome! 😃👍 Hey Kim? It’s my birthday on Sunday! 😃 I’ll be 32 and lucky lucky me! XD Year after year, the 19th of February has ALWAYS been within range of February’s half term! 😃 Except my 11th! That’s the only time I ever had to go to school! And I don’t know how it works for you in your nation but definitely for the UK! Well, mostly! Scotland may not agree on some Bank Holiday Mondays but that’s irrelevant! 😝 Basically, February’s half term, the second one of the academic year does NOT have a nickname! 😝 But the other two most certainly DO! The first one is called Blackberry Week, end of October into early November and the third one is called Whit Week, end of May into early June. Also, you are always guaranteed two Bank Holiday Mondays in May! The first one is called May Day. And I swear to god! The other year or show BEFORE Queen Elizabeth the second died, we Brits definitely had a Bank Holiday Friday earlier before! And yes! We had a Bank Holiday to moan the death our queen! :( I’ve memorised when all the half terms take place! 😜

In sentences with an extra word group that’s introduced with a preposition (such as “in” in this case) you can place that word group behind the last verb

Both are possible _in this case_ as Kim mentioned, but "Ze zijn in de woordzoeker verstopt." sounds nicer/smoother for me (🇳🇱).
