Thank you for this, I love watching videos of how the world looked like in the year I was born❤ the 90's were truly magical, I wish I experienced them instead of only 4 months.

I hate to believe that life was fairly different back then (even though it was only 1999 lol) and it makes me miss the 90s even though I don't have much memories of it.

The bus you see at 10:21 is 1999 Orion V #6058 (which was brand new at the time) on the M7 (which at the time was run out of Amsterdam Depot, a former Bronx Division Depot). This was a part of a 350 bus order (#6000-#6349). These units were powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine with an Allison B400R transmission. These were the last Orion Vs ever built for the MTA, behind (#101-#316 were 1993 units/#401-#580 were 1995 units/#611-#680 were 1996 units). While a majority of them were diesel powered, #317, #581-610 were CNG powered, with Detroit Diesel Series 50G engines (#317, a 1994 unit, was formerly equipped with a Cummins L10G). #6000 was built in 1998, and the rest in '99. Amsterdam Depot would close on June 27th, 2010 due to the budget cuts that year. These buses would be retired by late 2016, with #6025 and #6333 being the last ones to run. These buses served Amsterdam Depot, Kingsbridge Depot, Gun Hill Depot, Grand Avenue Depot, Castleton Depot, Yukon Depot, Charleston Depot, Casey Stengel Depot, and Eastchester Depot. Now about the M7, at the time it ran between West 147th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard in Harlem and Union Square. This route would be truncated to West 14th Street and 6th Avenue. After the closure of Amsterdam Depot, this route would be transferred over to it's current depot, Mother Clara Hale Depot, formerly 146th Street Depot. I've loved buses since I was a kid, and the MTA in general since 2006. I'm now a professional KZbinr and a future MTA employee.

...Also, having lived for almost 24 years in this city, New York, in addition to famous skyscrapers, also has, architecturally, culturally, characteristically very diverse, interesting, beautiful places in Manhattan, Brooklyn and other areas. I rode with my bike in different places of Manhattan and Brooklyn, Downtown, Midtown, Upper West and East sides of Manhattan, one of my favorite places are "Gramercy Park area", Upper West side of Manhatten near to Central Park and others places of Manhattan and Brooklyn and so on....I mentioned about New York, good sides and bad sides and so on of this City during the years, but New York is definitely a special city, megacity, and whatever happens in the future, after having lived for almost 24 years in this city, New York, it will in any case remain a part of my life, I also took and made photo/ pictures from different places of Manhattan, Brooklyn during these years...
