Nice Dutch! Man, I have the pro Boat Miss Geico with the rudder directly inline with the drive line and no turn or trim tabs and probably considerably more expensive lol! I like the boat but would be much more fun racing another :) Thumbs up! Cheers Dutch!

Halloa :) Mine came with a XT60 connector on the ESC.. I'm pretty sure that is still the case.. Let me know what You think of the boat ofcourse! :)

nice video! lots of good info there and will help anyone who wants to get this boat with little to no boating experience off to a great start. i have limited boating experience so i'm curious what the trim tabs effect will be on the boat. +Mike's RC Corner Thanks buddt :) Hope you got some info out of it, as I'm pretty sure the setup of your boat will similar :) Ah yeah.. the cooling bit.. Well that extra cooling block actually doesn't add a Lot of extra cooling.. It does however add extra resistance in the waterflow.. So the nett. effect of it isn't much at all... Hello, please help! I have a tfl zonda and it won’t go over 30 mph even on 6 s battery. It does the same speed no matter 4,5,6 s battery. I’ve tried it all and nothing over 30mph. What could it be?

hee man.. that IS a strange problem indeed :O I first thought it could be the ESC calibration but it would then at least be Faster at a higher voltage.. I would probably try a different ESC, but even if that helps it would not make sense....

Hi Dutch rc ! I was wondering if you could help me ? I upgraded to the one piece flexshaft and it seems to be binding somewhere one thing i noticed that there was a buildup of heat around the rear of the strut where the bearing is located the boat is brand new never neen run in water as it is freezing winter here i have also had the motor out and maybe i mis aligned it not sure. Is there a way or trick to realign motor? Cheers steven Australia

Howdy Steve :) well if there IS a trick to that, I don't know it.. I eyeball it just like you have.. I assume you have the shaft well greased up? Offcourse you Allso 'miss' the presure of the prop pushing the shaft in a bit. Were you running it dry or in water?

Good to read it helped you out sir! Well. I have not owned that boat, but flex-shaft systems are set up the same way on most boats.. So there is a Very good chance it works the same way :)

Is it possible just to weld the hard shaft and flex shaft so you don't need to remove the strut and just simply take out the whole 1 pc shaft.

Hi there sir :) well yes that IS possible and I know people that do so.. It is however hard to keep the shaft balanced and one can imagine what an unbalanced shaft would do.. It would be beyond my welding skills :$

hi, I have one problem with the screws that attach the propeller, I cant remove any of both so I cant take of my shaft, I suspect is becouse of that. I think both screws are grub and I understand that to remove the shaft I need to first take out the propeller screw but I cant becouse its locked.. what do you suggest me to do, or maybe im missing one step, but I dont think so becouse I already take out the motor abd the string. Please helpppp

Howdy! Have you taken off the outdrive-mount? (the vertical plate, with the cylender at the bottom) Yes.. I think you kinda Are missing something, but understandable if you haven't done it before :) In that cylindrical thing is actually a coupling (and bearings).. That plate is (as you can see) attached with 1 bolt + screw at the top.. OR.. had you allready done so??

Noo I dont, its my first rc boat so I am a bit lost and moreover.. english is not my fisrt language so I having some headache trying to understund new vocabulary. My main doubt is to know if the screws (both) next to the propeller had something to do with my probem as they’re both locked, if it isnt… can I send you a pic of my boat? Maybe that would make it easier for me

You shouldn't even need to take the propellor off.. Can you completely remove that vertical plate?

nope, the stinger is free but the whole platform (attached to the boat) stil enganched, may I have to take the whole stinger platform? aah and I own a different model than yours I think yours is older im not shure but it is the same sistem becouse I already talked with hobby king support

No more wooden parts inside the hull ...... New motor, SSS, with water jacket ..... Looks much better like this !! And now they have a version with Direct Drive system .... Both versions now in supply , or just the Direct Drive system ???

You could have mounted the receiver & battery in the boat & got it running instead of waffeling on about the self explanatory trim tabs & turn fins 🙄 $300 USD boat No battery No radio & No receiver & it takes a 6s battery Bigger motor & prop to make it real fast❗So it's definitely not RTR but a nice boat nevertheless & I am considering one in the future. Don't much care for the yellow or the skulls so would have to paint it. A variety of colors to choose from would have been a great selling point for this monster🤑
