Thanks brother :) It IS a bit difficult to assess how difficult / easy any rc is to use once you have some experience.. But well yeah.. I Think this is a relatively easy entry into heli flying :) Cheers & have a great weekend yourself!

Idle up in my understanding is turning the left switch towards you in the transmitter. Thats idle up- meaning you can so 3d stunts... Thats very clear, its even printed on the transmitter.

Nice video my friend ....Hello Dutch I have a question to you? I never have fly an 6 CH before Can I really fly in Idle up mode without to go in 3D? How is this possible ? I was thinking that I can fly only in 6G mode or in 3D mode with using the Idle up switch !!!....If I fly in Idle Up mode in what position must be the Transmitter sticks? Please let me know , I waiting for your answer !!! Thanks bro with respect your Greek friend nice to meet you !!!.............
@DutchRC5 жыл бұрын
Hi there sir! :) well yes that is definately possible.. If you leave all switches in the UP position (away from you) and don't touch the button on the bottom-right of the transmitter.. The helicopter will be in 6G mode.. That is the easyest way to fly it :) Cheers from the Netherlands! :D
@ShenRC7 жыл бұрын
Nice video, I like this one looks like a good heli!
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын
Thanks buddy :) Yes sir.. so far so good I'd say.. I don't think it would like crashing, but well.. that kinda goes for all / most heli's :)
@Zeaiclies7 жыл бұрын
The idle up switch is useless unless you are in 3G mode, there is no need for idle up unless doing 3D as it give negative pitch to the rotors.
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын
Well.. I don't really agree.. You allso have more control over the altitude, but agreed.. It's used more for 3D flying indeed :)
@superskullmaster7 жыл бұрын
DutchRC Adventures you don’t agree because you are wrong.
@ErnestPJay4 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by "idle up" mode in this heli? What did you touch in the transmitter to make it "idle up"? What I understand in a idle up is turning off the gyro or the 6g mode to do some stunts. I think you are using the word idle up in a wrong demo. I see the way you fly that you are not in a idle up mode but you keep on saying that you are in a idle up mode? Your title is misleading. Am i just confused or I am just a noob? Please help me. Thank you from Philippines

Hello Dutch. Always enjoy your reviews. I am looking to up grade in size from my wl toys v931, however, as I am still a novice pilot, would like your opinion on the tail motor. With my v931 the tail motor is problematic sometimes working sometimes not, even after a couple of replacements, therefore, did you have any tail rotor issues? Regards
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын
Howdy Alex :) I've actually flown my V950 a couple of times last weekend.. AND.. I have not replaced a single thing on mine so far (knock on wood).. So yep.. this is a nice step up :)

my v950 right out of the box when i plugged it in the servo burned up in it had to order more is there better servos that fit the v950 with out modifying it
@DutchRC4 жыл бұрын
I don't know as I don't have this heli anymore. But I would look for a users-topic on RCgroups for this heli.. I am sure possible replacement / upgrade servo's are mentioned in it :)

I'm a rank beginner, here, with this heli. I DO have a fair bit of hours on CP helies, the V977. I need to know WHAT IS Idle Up? What is it for? When would you USE it?
@DutchRC5 жыл бұрын
regretably the terminology isn't used the same way by everyone, and some manuals mix things up as well.. Basically you can: a. fly (semi) fixed pitch, and in that mode you can't fly inverted.. b. fly Idle up / stunt demo / 3D mode.. you then controly your elevation with Pitch

Very nice review I was looking forward too! It flies great! Does it come out of the box like this?

Hi great video, i need your help i purchased one of these after watching your video. My problem my first 2 flights were uneventful both 10 min long, on my 3rd flight for some reason after taking off i had almost no right cyclic all other controls seem just fine. I put full right trim in the transmitter and it lifts off fine but when i try to bring the heli back to the right with right cyclic it doesn't respond. With throttle hold on i have full movement of the swash-plate moving the cyclic left and right. I'm hoping you or one of your many viewers can tell me what to do. Thank You Left cyclic works fine as does forward and back
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын
Howdy :) hmmm that is an awkward issue you have there.. Could it be 1 servo doesn't perform well anymore Under Load? What I mean is: when not in flight that servo would have an easy job tilting the swash, where it would have a harder time doing so in flight... I'm sure you have allready checked the center-position of the servo-arms, and the swash-plate?
@RC944jim7 жыл бұрын
DutchRC Adventures Hi yes the swash plate seems fine it was flying just fine when I landed at the 10 min. mark. But I may swap a couple servos around to see if the servo is a problem. I sure hope not, it's brand new with just a couple 10 min. flights and no hard landings. Thanks for your reply.
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын
Well the Good things is: them servo's would not be expensive to replace.. The most important thing now is to find the real problem.. Hope swapping 2 servo's out will point you to the cause! You're welcome.. Good luck!

Do you turn on the transmitter 1st then helli?
@DutchRC4 жыл бұрын
yes.. in fact that goes for almost All RC's.. only on the cheap toy-grade things is it the other way around..
@garyvale83477 жыл бұрын
what was the wind speed that day? what type battery are you using and what is the average flight time? looks like you had trouble maintaining a constant altitude, was that the case...if so was it the heli or because of the wind? thanks....
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын
Howdy Gary :) I had about a 3BF wind that day, with 4BF gusts.. So yes. that made it quite hard to fly anything reasonably smooth ;) I flew the heli on it's stock lipo, and I get flight times of 8-12 minutes depending on the type of flying...
@garyvale83477 жыл бұрын
would you recommend this heli for someone ( me, a beginner ) coming from a Blade 200 S?...thanks
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын
Yes for SURE.. at this price you wouldn't be tooo worried to crash it, which makes the flying more relaxing.. It's a well behaved heli I think..

@mrpalandeng7 жыл бұрын
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын

Well good luck / have fun with yours then offcourse! I have to add that I did A LOT of simulator training for heli's.. That really really helps a lot.. (I use Aerofly RC7).. I had kinda expected Some new heli to review after this V950.. But nothing came up.. I think it's still one of the best trainer heli's (not to small so you can actually see what happens)

@DutchRC-RAW6 жыл бұрын
@drestarss6 жыл бұрын

@drestarss6 жыл бұрын

@mrpalandeng7 жыл бұрын
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын
@mrpalandeng7 жыл бұрын
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын
@mrpalandeng7 жыл бұрын
@DutchRC7 жыл бұрын

Hey mate, all good? Have you had any issues with the tail rotor and is it normal for it not to spin until I command right yaw / rudder movement? I've just made a video on what's going on with mine and I can't tell if this is supposed to be happening or not: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5KxqoqQg9CYp7s It randomly gives or doesn't give power to the tail rotor while the rudder stick is centered, turns on the tail rotor when applying right yaw and turns it off when applying left yaw. I did manage to fly with it for ~10 minutes after this video though, but I'm afraid it's faulty and it may become a problem soon.
@DutchRC3 жыл бұрын
Halloa! sorry for the late reply :$ your comment somehow got marked as spam :$ hmm nope.. that is for sure Not normal.. without the tail-motor running the heli will just spin around it's axis.. that sounds like a calibration issue.. eighter of the radio, or the gyro (in the heli)
