The Goodness of the Gospel and the complications of our pride do not mix like amos 7:1- 9:15 our simple happy mission must be to spread the Goodness and joy of the Gospel to the ends of the earth that God will claim by His Grace for His Glory! How many times did our parents ask us, “do you hear me?” We have asked this very same question of our own children numerous times. We know there is nothing wrong with their hearing, yet we know they are not truly hearing what we are saying. It is a heart issue, not an ear/hearing issue. Many times we suffer this same “hearing” problem with the Lord. It means that our heart of obedience is not rightly aligned with His will. It is time to surrender; time to humble ourselves under our hearing ear. May we hear above the noise of this busy season.

I like your teachings on word studies. It confirm what Deut 6: 4-9 says. " Hear O' Israel. . "; the word Hear in Hebrew is Shema and means Hear and obey. Here we can agree that Paul agrees with the Torah. I love it!

My husband raised himself. He's been angry ever since, that his parents could've cared less. His dad was in prison a lot. On another one of thousands of sleepless nights, years ago the Lord spoke to him and showed him that all these sleepless nights (my husband is now 68) were due to my husband's anger. He still has sleepless nights all the time.
