This DV stuff is very frustrating. Actually, I've been applying since 2008 but yet to win. My cousin won the DV around that year so that's how come I got to know about it (DV) and started applying. Despite I've been unsuccessful over the years, I'm never giving up so far as I don't need to pay to apply. By God's grace, I'm very POSITIVE that I will be WINNING this year (DV 2023).

A lot of it has to do with your case number. I suggest going to britsimonsays.com and watching all of his videos. This will give you a good base to understanding the process.

For the SSN application, they say "complete and sign this application LEGIBLY using ONLY black or blue ink on the attached or downloaded form using 8.5 x 11 paper." I am not sure, does it mean I have to write it by hand? Or typed is ok? with covid the offices are closed, I need to mail them the application. I will write "MANOU PARDO" on -name: to be shown on the card- even though my passport and my dependent id name is MANON PARDO and my green card says MANON MORGAN. I ve heard it might not work. But I will just try it anyway. and pray. Any thoughts? Few people told me it works to mail color photocopies with the application, instead of the original (that I will not do)

Hi. I've been in USA 7 years ago and I have been arrested for half a day and got out because of speed limit tickets. Heyy, i won from my first try as well and my case number is at the start of 7K 😃 so you have to do all your paperwork and then send them to the KCC as a PDF file. after that they will send an email to an IOM hospital in your country to do your medical exams. After you do the medical exams you’ll receive an email on when you’re gonna be interviewed.

I had the same issue. Usually it means a lot of people are trying to use the website so it causes traffic. I waited for a while tried it again and it went through.

Hi Brit. I have a worry about ds-260 in work/ocupation section. At the time of filling the form i was unemployed but now in meantime i started to work in military but as a civil worker on maintenance, so i have two questions. Should i unlock the form and change the employment status or should i leave the form with first information as unemployed person? Is it a risk for possible visa denial on interview?

Hi. It'd be very helpful if you could tell how long it will or might take between submitting the DS form and receiving request from KCC to send them the documents. I've submitted the form... waiting. Will this request come via email or mail?
