you have to understand your odd to be selected is around 1% maybe a little more like 1.5% so ye your chance are low it's not impossible like winning a lottery for money but it's low and probably the "hardest" way to get a green card. Secondly, you keep participating because you want it and submitting an entry takes you about 15 minutes max so you don't really lose much. Keep participating who knows what can happen.

I am one of the DV 2022 winners,I had my interview at the US embassy in Djibouti in May 2022.the consular informed me that every thing was fine and that I would receive my visa with in a days. After waiting for nearly Five months, in September 27 ,I received a call from the embassy informing me that my visa had been processed and instructing me to illiterate a plane ticket (to know the flight,portal of entry in US and time of flight). I was over enjoyed to find that despite my prolonged wait,believing my dream became true. After 3 days I received an email informing me my fiscal year is over.from that day I became upset, frustrated, socialy isolated. You can say that I experienced PTSD.every body is still asking me was their any problem or any mistake while you were in the embassy and I am un able to respond to them all. I would like to ask you dear Simon if lawsuit is suitable to my case or not?. Your sincerely

Thank you for this information. Well I applied for last year. But the confirmation number start with 2025xxxxxxxxxxxxxx but when I login to check for my status it shows the confirmation is invalid! Even another friend also shows same I don’t why it happened likes this. Please help find out on what went wrong. And when I follow the procedure forgot the confirmation number still it does not recognize the data information. The confirmation number for this year should start with 2024 or 2025. Cause we have starts with 2025! What could the problem??

I have been "playing" this insane US game lottery since 2009 with no win effects.My mission to pursuit happyness is over.I'm getting tired and older,will remain in EU for the rest of my life in middle class community.My 15 years experinece and conclusion is,the chances to win US dv lottery is equal of winning powerball or any jackpot lottery that means all you need to have is an enormous sum of good luck,that I have never gotten.Amen and good luck.

@@ronaldkigame5674 please read article with comprehension,it's not about granting temporary visa to enter US,it's about how to get permanent residency/green card leading to citizenship.With EU passport don't need visa to temporay enter the US.By the way most of the US granted visas are "not immigrant visa" with no leaading to permanent residency/green card,unless someone's is honoured scientist,sporsman with extraordinary lifetime achievements.
