Thank you for the tutorial! I’m making as gifts for all my card playing friends. I like them better with two pieces of batting for each CD. I like a little softer feel when holding. Great gifts and good use of fabric and batting scraps. Thank you for all your great tutorials. 👏👏🥰

I’ve been making these for about a year. I sell them at craft shows and they are a great hit.

My 88 yr. old Mother-in-law likes to play cards, yet has bad arthritis, this would be a fantastic Mother’s Day gift for her.❤🙏🙌🏻

Thank you Laura. I've just finished chemo and have come out the other side with severe nerve damage in my hands. (&feet). One of these is perfect for my needs. I'll be back kicking butt at UNO again in no time. Xx

Really great project! Arthritic hands would appreciate these!! I’m going to make some of these for our assisted living community.

Great Project! Use a little piece of double face tape or regular tape made into a little loop and that will help hold that batting in place.

Are 2 pieces of batting, one for each CD used?
@LindaMZH658 ай бұрын
I rewound this video a few times and even though Laura doesn’t say that, it looks like each circle has a piece of batting when she starts sewing the circles together. 😁

I made these for my grandchildren whose hands aren’t big enough or strong enough to hold cards for too long. I also ended up making some for me as I have arthritis and difficulty holding playing cards for too long.

How could we use our sewing machine to gather the fabric?
@candacecarroll428 ай бұрын
I think I would use a strong quilting thread such as Glide and a 3.5 or 4.0 stitch. Be sure to leave a tail at the beginning before back stitching and then just a tail at the end.
