Perfect thanks! I couldn’t leave a comment on the short. I wasn’t sure if you kept the metal support that the cable was in. Thanks! I’ll get that bolted up!

Been following your content man and it has been excellent! I just put a set of these on my LX450 and it’s a totally different rig now. You’re gonna love how it drives. DeltaVS makes incredible products. Looking at getting one of their rear dual swing out bumpers later this year. Need to get my transfer case regeared first! Look forward to the next video brother!

Thank you I appreciate it. Yeah DVS definitely has some cool stuff for sure. Got a few thing to tie up front, but can’t wait to drive it. Cheers

Nice vid. Just got my arms delivered today. What locking hubs are you running? Looks like they'd work for the longer birfs.

Thank you. I’m running the Aisin 30 spline manual locking hubs. Had to upgrade to 30 spline Birfields to suit. Definitely beefier than what was offered between 91’ thru 94’ models. So glad I did.

These are great. Have them on mine as well. Do you also have the pan hard bar bracket?
@trackcalledquest
@trackcalledquest Жыл бұрын
Yep, I have the rear pan hard bracket installed. Mandatory for the rear end wiggle! Don’t have one installed on the front axle though. Having the new front radius arms set with the correct amount of caster is a game changer for sure.

@@trackcalledquest yeah that phb bracket made a big difference. Rear end feels so much more planted. I wish he was made the 4 inch arms one more frequently than the 3 or 5 inch arms. When I talked to him he said he’ll only make a run if he has enough orders.. but talking to him he said the 3 would be fine for my set up. 35’s, OME J suspension except for now rears swapped for non-J’s till I get more weight back there. I feel like I’m in between the 3 and 5 inch arms. Still made a huge difference though.

DVS makes some aweome stuff. I am looking forward to see how it drives for you after the install. You gained 10 pounds - the caster correction bracket weight (I know it isn't much but have to stay optimistic 😁)

The castor correction plates weren’t giving the truck enough castor. Which made the truck really sketchy at highway speeds. Gotta tie up few things then we’ll take it for a spin. Cheers

@@trackcalledquest Yeah I don't really think the plates are a good way to go. They are cheap but then you pay for it with the not so great ride and not the actual correct castor. I only have a 1.75" Dobinson lift so my ride is still pretty good.

@@NigelNaughton Really, I’ve spoken to Slee Offroad and DVS on problems we encounter with these 80 Series going any where past 2.5” of lift. Yep I agree castor correction plates is a temporary fix.

Are these the standard 5" or 5L Arms?
@trackcalledquest
@trackcalledquest 11 ай бұрын
They are the standard 5” arms. But are 1” longer than stock to bring the wheels back to the wheel well center line. Cheers!

@@trackcalledquest I seem to remember you putting on a 4" lift, wondering how the 5" DVS arms are working out for you? Steering/tracking/stability in the good range?

@@ggergg6423 Dusty is running a 4” lift with 30mm poly spacers. After installing the DVS arms I can actually relax and enjoy the long drives specially along mountain roads. I do not find myself white knuckling it anymore. Dusty tracks straight and is very predictable now. One thing to consider is the rear as well. I strongly suggest an adjustable rear track bar with the DVS rear track bar relocation bracket to keep the back settled. Remember anything over a 2.5” of lift with an 80 series will cause some serious drivability issues. Cheers.

@@trackcalledquest Ah, so 5" total, that is where mine will be too. Did you use the 3" or 5" DVS Panhard lift bracket?
