Just so everyone is aware. Crew members are unionized. They get paid more when overtime starts clocking in. The same crew members who were out of work during the writer and SAG strikes that happened earlier that year. Some of those crew members were recipients of Dwayne Johnson's $2,000,000 donation to SAG when SAG was supporting striking members. Who lost money when he was late on set? The Rock: "It's just getting started as I like to say." Chris Evans: over 25 years of acting experience, starred in a multi-billion dollar franchise in a lead role for a decade, heavily contributed to multiple charities using his popularity as Captain America, and has been in multiple award nominated movies such as Knives Out Johnson is successful himself but Evans is insanely humble to that statement
@JaeohnEspheras23 күн бұрын
Well i think the Rock mostly saying that Chris Evans stardom is mostly related to his marvel movies. People don't see a movie because of Chris Evans. But some people go see a movie because of the Rock. Even if you don't like him, that is my understanding. But wouldn't have said he was "starting". I would said that Chris is now looking to diversify and expand his horizon beyond marvel movies. Captain america would have been sucess irrespective of the actor they chose for Captain America.

@JaeohnEspheras18 күн бұрын
@@mdlokman4662 After Johnny Storm, can you name a memorable blockbuster Chris Evans did before Captain America? Sure, he worked steadily, but none of his roles reached blockbuster status or made a lasting mainstream impact. RDJ? What blockbuster did he headline before Iron Man, aside from Tropic Thunder? While he remained active, his career was in a major slump after his legal troubles. Now, The Rock? Not all of his movies have been hits, but he’s been consistently drawing audiences to theaters for over two decades. From The Scorpion King to the Fast & Furious franchise, and even Jumanji, he’s built a track record of recognizable roles across genres. Though his recent appeal has waned, you can’t deny that he’s been in more memorable films than RDJ or Chris Evans outside of the MCU. Disclosure: I’m not arguing about who’s the better actor-this is just an observation of their career trajectories.
