Fast furniture IKEA is the worst culprit for promoting wasteful consumption of wooden products. They launder illegal timber.

After Covid people should have learned our supply chain is the weak spot…..you need to stock up and keep stocked up. Stack it to the rafters. Plant a garden. The only person you can rely on is yourself. The government isn’t going to save you. And you shouldn’t be a burden on your neighbors. Put it under the bed, stack it on the upper shelves. A couple cans extra every time we go to the store. You foolish if you don’t prep.

Thats foolishness. Resilience should be built by communities. Community gardens, farming co ops, stockpiles, tree planting, rainwater harvesting, protecting local wild lands and waters, community water plans. Its individualism that got us into this mess. Strong communities working for sustainability might get us out.

The documentary was informative and highlights how complicated supply chains are in our world. Another thing, I wanted to highlight is how conservations of ecosystems to help mitigate climate change.

What kind of seed oil ?
@lacdirkАй бұрын
@@Clip_Gallery Pumpkin, the Netherlands never had rainforests. Much of the land used to be covered by the sea, so no forests were harmed in the making of the Dutch countryside. You are of course correct that farming in the Netherlands also has problems (too much fertiliser being used, too much CO2 generated, and still too much pesticide use), but those problems are quite a lot smaller than the outright destruction of the rainforests.
