With the help of mRNA technology, BioNTech has developed a vaccine for COVID-19. These assist the body to produce its own antigens to fight the virus - a medical milestone.
Since the beginning of the 21st century, scientists Uğur Şahin und Özlem Türeci have pursued the goal of creating cancer treatments that are specific to individuals. The firm they established, BioNTech, focuses heavily on revolutionary mRNA technology.
The "M” in mRNA means messenger and RNA stands for ribonucleic acid. MRNA delivers information for antigen production directly to the cell which produces proteins. Afterwards, these cells present self-produced antigens on their outer shells and trigger a specifically desired immune response.
Şahin and Türeci came up with the idea of using mRNA technology for vaccines in January 2020 after reading about a virus recently identified in Wuhan, China. Within hours, BioNTech decided to launch its search for a viable vaccine. The initial steps required lots of money and nerves of steel. The founders of pharmaceutical giant Hexal, brothers Andreas and Thomas Strünmann, were among the first financial backers.
BioNTech received hundreds of millions in funding and the search for a vaccine began. But many questions remained unresolved. In the end, persistence paid off. A Partnership with Pharma Giant Pfizer sped up the testing phase and the Comirnaty Concentrate was approved. Its efficacy proven, millions around the world have been vaccinated with it.
But what does the future look like for cancer research? And can mRNA technology aid in the fight against Malaria? The documentary shows what a wide-ranging affect this startup company in Mainz, Germany is having on global health. Film maker Michael Schindhelm has gained the opportunity to take a closer look at this revolutionary company.

DW has done many many fantastic youtube videos......this video unfortunately brings out a lot of justified anger & mistrust in many viewers, myself included....due to great amount of deception, control tactics by powers that be regarding COVID vaccines etc....also great anger toward pharma for same reason & for the huge disrespect this corporate entity show humans who suffer greatly from their products & the endless corporate greed that fuels them ! In general DW has brought to light many evils, mistakes, & amazing historical knowledge formerly unknown to me & a great number of viewers.

These protesters are many medical professionals Doctors, Nurses, university medical Professional. For example A medical prophessor in Flinders University Adelaide South Australia. Protests ann over Aust. The evvects on native Australians. And the legal challenges being made on those forcing intrusive medical proceedures. An Interesting angle for you is the legal arm of The Jehovah's Wittnesses who have legally fought and won around the world their legal right to not have forced blood transfusion. An intrusive proceedure. Covid also is similar. By the way JW's have no objection to vaccination. Its down to personal decision as it should be.

when do ribosomes stop "printing" the foreign m r n a? is there a time limit, or a number of times it would "print" it out? and what's the use of "old" spike protein information encoded in the V if it's already mutated generation after generation, from variant to variant? i mean, doesn't it knock down the effectiveness? doesn't that up the number of new cases even among those who received their jabs?
@danielcastilho486
@danielcastilho486 2 жыл бұрын
Yes there is a time limit, but ribosomes dont "print" the mRNA they read it and "print out" protein. The time limit is not an absolute figure, but a general range. Think of bananas on your counter top. Eventually they will rot but it depends on factors such as heat and humidity. Eventually, like all of your own cell's mRNA, the foreign mRNA will be recycled by Ribonucleases back into its basic components known as ribonucleotides. They may still be effective because variants only differ by a small % from one another. So it depends on where the differences occur and where your individual immune system learned to recognize the spike protein molecule.
@avgfree21
@avgfree21 2 жыл бұрын
Sort of, Omicron is an example of one where the effectiveness is significantly diminished because it appears that Delta and the common cold "merged" so its A LOT different now. But all the variants up to and including delta were genetically similar which meant the vaccine protected well against them.

The short clips of the Hungarian scientist explained that mRNA already was researched at universities decades ago .....which gives a much more true picture of science. This story is just one of thousands and thousands of examples how tax payers money finance research/science at universities who do the costly and time consuming base research .....and then private companies like for example in the pharmaceutical industry just use that research by combining 2 + 2 and call what they produce "innovative" and "revolutionary" .....and scoop in a huge profits.... The tax payers must again pay through their state so they can buy those medicines for a high cost.... A high cost justified by the pharma companies claim of their huge cost in their "innovative" work..... Full circle.... The world wants to be deceived.....

Monkey made a joke Dan. And in fairness though Dan, not all base research is financed by tps. Many, yes. But that does not matter really, this cycle is not the final answer to the universal question, noted. But this is by far the best concept overall to spread the benefits to the society. Long term, societies, civilization can only function when all of its part is there to compete on a level they can add value. The assumptions of your comment predicates that you don't really grasp the basics of economy or you believe in social communism. Both can and are accepted in an open society, but that does not mean that you are right. In fact, just the opposite.

This gives us more data, and faster than ever, than for any other drug, procedure, or vaccine in history. Key fact: with vaccines, serious adverse reactions are known within minutes and hours. Sure, we can't 100% prove that its completely safe. But please tell me, has there ever been a vaccine with negative long term effects? You could point to instances of a vaccine being contaminated with other substances or live viruses, but any health effect from that isn't caused by the vaccine itself, so that doesn't count. My point is, vaccines in general are safe. They don't really require years of safety trials. They aren't like drugs that could cause unforseen effects because they have an unknown pharmacological effect. We know how vaccines work, and they typically all work in the same way.

Basically the policy was let the third world die, and let’s suck as much money as we can from the first world even if we violate basic ethics. And now the propaganda is to celebrate them when 98% of funds came from the government for the research and the majority of research development from international collaboration. The policy alone shows one of two things. 1) that it was not as bad as reported. 2) it is that bad and people can just die everywhere else we only care about profit. The first accusation is widely spoken. But the second accusation is far more horrifying conclusion.

Sure, stating facts makes one anti? 😂 Hilarious. Look up Australian Health Minister Greg Hunt saying this exact thing.

No it's not! MRNA is not a new concept in medicine. Data and experience of 30 years went into this vaccine. Please do not belittle and undermine the work of elite scientists all around the world. Millions of human beings were saved thanks to mrna vaccines. I personally support you and your right to not get it. But please stop spreading lies because you don't know what you are talking about.

The virus has horrid long term effects. 40% of people who get it get long haul symptoms, including myself. But hey, fixable. We know the virus causes nerve damage, I have one misfiring from the virus (not the vaccine, let us be clear on that) that I will soon have an operation to kill. Oh, taste, it can be returned with a brutal diet. No caffeine. No alcohol. Very low fat (no beef, cheese, deserts, cream, fried foods), reduced sugar. I'm allowed to cheat every two weeks and I am amazed how much more I taste. The virus side effects are really bad. e.g., myocarditis is far more severe from the virus than the vaccine. If being unvaccinated didn't increase the risk for my family, I wouldn't care, but it does. Meh, where I dance requires masks and vaccinations; we can start living normal again. Just don't live the boosted lifestyle unvaccinated. That is just asking for trouble.
