There were 3, it was initiated long before, the 3 accounted for only 6%, they would have had to be shut down or expensively renovated anyway because they were outdated! To cover electricity consumption, Germany would need around 75 new nuclear power plants, which even the energy companies don't want, and no insurance company would insure them.

First of all these nuclear plants wouldn't have contributed much to the overall energy mix and because we're part of the UCTE grid in europe there's not much of a problem importing energy bc it's always going for the cheapest option at a certain time. Secondly if you're for cheap energy you can't be a supporter of nuclear energy. Only reason nuclear energy is even able to be part of the energy mix is bc of huge amounts of subventions.

Tariffs are paid by the importing company and passed on to the consumer, so ultimately US consumers will pay. Companies manufacturing outside the USA will not pay tariffs - the volume of product that they export to the USA might be impacted. Companies manufacturing finished product inside the USA (for the USA market) but with overseas components might find their costs go up and that will be passed on to the USA consumer.
