According to a report titled “Green BRI Projects in the Western Balkan countries” it even listed the composition of the 2 types of investments in each country, namely energy, transport and others. Up until many years ago, N. Macedonia, my homeland had good relations with China and we used to have big infrastructure projects like they have in Serbia. Now I haven 't heard much about China in my country, maybe I 'm wrong, they did build a highway in the eastern part of my country a few years back. 🤔

I don't want to express my opinion on the EU and its complexity and the different interests, but the chinese way and american way to make business was once nice described in a context over investments in South America and Africa. The USA is delivering better quality, but for a humongous price. They have no interest that you can pay of your debt and want only to sell you something. Where China positioned itself as a good partner, who has no interest to slaves you and is a faire partner. The difference lies in the mentality. China goes for the long goal and USA for the all mighty dollar.
