I know an older fisherman and deer hunter who had a family farm off the Mississippi. He tells me you shouldn’t eat anything from that river because of the 3M forever chemicals. Do your own research and decide for yourself. Just sharing what I’ve been told. But I liked the video and Perch are great!

There are plastic chemicals in basically everything we buy from the grocery store that is packaged in plastic. There is plenty to research there as well. Is it more or less that the fish we eat? I don't know but there is more and more being learned every day. Eat as much fresh whole foods as you can.

I have never hit the perch bite on the Mississippi in the Spring right. Tried numerous times. Gave up finally. I resort to gills in late May and October. Just can't seem to dial in perch.

It was 15 fish there I believe? At least that’s what I ended up taking home.

Its 25. I catch 13-15” perch there all the time.

That's correct some people get it confused and keep 25 but you have to go by Minnesota regs. If you don't mind what day was that and the water temp. Ive been down on pool 10 just walleye fishing, need to check into the perch bite when the eyes slow down. Glad to see they were hitting plastic, I have a hard time buying bait. You ever tried flies? I do pretty good when the eyes aren't very active on double fly rig. @@DWSOutdoors
