DX5 Rugged and Vanquish Phoenix VFD 3 position switch

Ok.. I have watched this a few times. PIece of information missing. Before you adjust the travel on the radio, where are you setting the servos position to? I have my Overdrive set the way you do, but I can adjust the center poistion on the three way. How do you adjust that?

I sit up everything just like you said but when I hit my switch the servo moves then returns when I lift my finger? do you know what I'm doing wrong. DX5R Spektrum

You have it set up as a 2 position switch like in my other video.

can anyone tell me why my 3 position doesnt start at neutral? ive tried a million different things for the pass couple hours and no matter what when i turn on 3 position for aux 1 using my D switch on my dx5c it ALWAYS starts at -?? and not 0 this is driving me nuts. i will have to move my servo horn accordingly to accomidate for the travel at this point

I’m not sure I’ve ever thought about that. Wherever it starts should be one end of the operation and it should click through the other two. I’m not sure you can have it start in the middle position.

@@BullmanBuiltRC that was my conclusion at the end of this long day of fiddling.. what i ended up doing was setting center point with middle position on my dig.. and then the other 2 will do 4wd and dig... but because the center on the 3 pos isnt true center i will always have to make sure i leave the position in 4wd before i shut it off no biggy.. just liked the idea of it going to middle position on my dig when i start the rig up as that is the point of free spinning gear "no chatter or binding"
