Hello Jeri I just found your precious YT channel a couple of days ago and I just love everything. I also had a pet squirrel when I was a pre teen. I named him Squeaky and love him so much. I have always loved wild animals and helped raise raccoon & deer. Today at 54 my husband and I have 2 chihuahuas we love and some of our dearest friends are in their 80s. We appreciate the simple things. I told my husband how much I love everything you do and told him "when I grow up I want to be more like you".❤ You seem to be such a kind Christian lady who loves GOD'S wonderful creations. I love your house, gardens your love to enjoy all these things and just making the most of life. When my husband retires he wants to move to TN. If you ever decided to open your garden or home for tea parties or volunteers to help in your garden or to admire your sweet fur & feathered babies I would surely love the pleasure. GOD bless & keep you and you🐀🐤🐿🐇🦆🪿🦋🐞🌹🌷🌻🥀🌿🪺🍁

One of my best friends is 20 years older than me, at 90yrs old. Common interests draw people together; a love for nature, animals, God, beautifully crafted items and interesting old things... to name just a few. I used to have an open garden day every year, but our younger dogs have not learned to be polite to strangers yet, and so we will have to hold off on garden visitors for awhile longer.

Loved the ode to the tiny acorn! The oak trees in our front yard have been dropping loads this year, and the squirrels have been very busy. Another acorn fan here, I have them in little wooden bowls, I've used the caps for fairy dishes in my garden, I've made a quilt with acorn designs, I've wood burned them on wood and onto gourds, I've painted the in oils, along with their fluffy hunters, I have a pair of plate racks in my kitchen with metal oak leaves and 3-D amber acorns, I have acorn boxes, acorn bells and Christmas ornaments, I even planted one and started a bonsai for my daughter.(Did I mention I'm a fan too? lol) Love the acorn door knocker and all the other acorn creations! Felted acorns are something I've had on my crafting to do list a long time, maybe this will be the year. I know the native Americans made flour from them, I don't recall the process. Finding satisfaction in doing simple things will make life less bleak; make a batch of beautiful cookies or bake bread, read a great book, learn needlework or plant some flower bulbs in a pot. I am glad you are enjoying the videos!

I just adore your critters that you make. Such fine detail and talent. What I especially love about them is when I see them they take me back to my childhood because they are so real looking and I love the clothes you make for them as well. So adorable!

They take me back to my childhood each time I create a new one, dressing them is so much fun and I sometimes use vintage doll dresses dating from the 1920's -1940's from my collection

Dear Jeri, I found your video today and thought I would watch it. Oh my goodness, I am so glad I did! You are a wonderful storyteller and your artistic talent is amazing! God has truly blessed you. You have a life that people only dream about. Thank you for this channel and sharing your life with us! (When I was a little girl us kids had a clearing in the woods where we used to play. I loved acorns too! I used to collect them and draw little faces on them. What fun we use to have). 🍁🐿🍂

Look at those beautiful donkeys! Love that cookie cutter. If i was rich i would buy all your felt creatures they are just too cute! I have an even greater appreciation of them considering how long it takes to create them and what goes into it. I want to buy your books too, they are beautiful. I just adore you and HopAlong Hollow! 💙💜💚🐿

Jeri, you are one very talented lady! The colors of your dyes were beautiful! It's amazing watching you create your little creature & the acorns in the basket were a perfect addition! Your poem of the acorn was lovely! Every fall here in Connecticut I gather a basket of acorns to decorate with! I loved showing my children & now my grandchildren the amazing acorn that grows into an oak tree. It is especially exciting when a little tiny tree is starting to shoot out of the acorn! The cookies look delicious & how it must of filled your home with an amazing aroma! 🤗
