Amena yes you can’t change the thinness of your hair but you can optically make it look voluminous with the right haircut 😉 try some step cut instead of all the same length cut. I personally find you have beautiful hair by the way.

Amena try Surma Kohl (the black powder used for eyes), i had hair-loss in my front head, at first i applied kohl to hide my hair-loss but then i noticed it made my hair-loss grow (i also have hypothyroid, so i was losing to much hair, my hair became soft and thinning but with taking levaxin over time my hair started to go back like it used to be)

Amena, thanks for being so vulnerable. Most of us (North East Africans) have thin hair. Yes, keep your ponytails loose, because any pulling of our hair loosens our hair at the roots over time. Also, please don't use any gel, there is no safe gel, and they all have alcohol.

Your hair isn’t thin, it’s fine hair and your hair is healthy. What helped me was braid outs, try it on damp hair and on stretched hair and see which gives the most volume. Also cutting my hair layered was a game changer. Please don’t do it yourself lol get it professionally done and let them do your perimeters only this way you don’t lose any length. ❤ overall u did a great job!

I was saying "no, don't cut too much " as if you could hear me 😂 But your hair still looks great and the color suits you. If you want more volume, try flexi rods with gel . Or try using curling gel on your wet hair. As your hair shrinks, it will look more voluminous. BTW, your hair isn't very thin. I've seen some tiktokers with 3 strands of hair use some tricks to get lots of volume 😂 💕
