I'm going to dye my hair this summer! Moahaha >:D Sadly, not whole hair *dies a little on the inside*, but I get to "dip dye", which is going to be fun. It's going to be semi-permanent, which washes off (if I'm unlucky as I'm blonde xD) after a while (5-30 showers). You can maybe do it that way instead of permanent?

I dye my hair with out bleaching it. It gives it less of a vibrant color and it won't last as long as some hair might. But I haven't really seen a difference.

I used Splat! back in June, and it's dark purple. My hair is slightly yellow, but light enough to avoid bleaching. That dye still hasn't come out all the way yet. It's been 4 months.

Have a thick fringe and lots of short choppy layers. It takes ages to train and don't go to the hairdressers, do it yourself

I dyed my hair for the first time when I was 10,now I'm 13 and my hair is fresh and not destroyed. I've never lost any hair or anything. I've bleached it and done other not so good things to my hair but it's still normal hair. People shouldn't be too afraid,thin hair can break because there's a slight chance it's less taken care of or just damaged. Thick hair is often very strong but dye can still have a different effect on different people.
